Derbyshire Constabulary are appealing to the public for sightings of missing Chesterfield man, Keith, 88.

He was last seen by friends at half-time at the Chesterfield FC v Walsall match at the SMH Group Stadium [Chesterfield] on Saturday 31 January 2026.

He was expected home after the match but has not been seen since.

He had driven to the game in his red Citroen C1 car which was last seen on the A619 between Baslow and Bakewell at 7.41pm.

Keith is described as being 5ft 9ins tall with grey hair, clean shaven and wears glasses.

He was wearing a short tweed sports jacket and grey trousers with a blue padded jacket that had a hood on it.

There is sad news coming through about Keith. Derbyshire Constabulary have issued the following statement:

The body of a man believed to be that of missing Chesterfield man Keith (88) has been found in Beeley this morning (Sunday 1 February).

His family are aware, and our thoughts are with them.

The family has asked for their privacy to be respected please at this difficult time.

A file is being prepared for the coroner.

88 and still going to the match? Some guy. Sad news, RIP Keith.
