I know, my point is that she was clearly not born in 1998, and she didn’t become a mother then either.

I see. Should the first date read "1988"?

Yes, I mean she’s 35. So either: plaque was made incorrectly, 1998 refers to something other than dob, or…they are pretending she is 25(?)

This was all done quite quickly too. There must be some real solid evidence of her death. I’m just trying to imagine what that is:

-Definite murder scene found
-Murder weapon found and confirmed
-He confessed but somehow forgot where he left her or he dropped her into the ocean

Any others?

I guess internet searches he might have done im relation to murder or circumstantial evidence can be used to make a case for sure

I’m just not sure I could accept that though if I was a relative

I agree re: accepting. I dunno, maybe the fact they have tried to come to terms with accepting it means that the police have solid evidence that they have shared with them which isn't public??

Still no new information given about this and how they came to the conclusion they could convict this guy with no body.... Would be good to know what evidence they have.

We won't know anything until the trial. The lack of a body doesn't concern me, there have been plenty of murder trials (and convictions) without one.

Is there going to be a trial?

Still no further updates ....seems a bit odd
Wondering what makes you think that? Scottish cases progress slowly through the legal system according to their government statistics website
www.gov.scot/news/journey-times-in-the-scottish-criminal-justice-system-2023-24/#:~:text=Median%20journey%20times%20%28date%20of%20offence%20to%20date,Sheriff%20summary%20and%209%20months%20in%20JP%20courts.

Correct, Scotland moves much slower than England courts which are usually charge to trial in 6 months unless it's a particularly complex case.

Perfectly normal. The press can't say anything about the case now that someone has been charged. There's no point being impatient.

I don't think families get told any more than the general public. I wish her body could be found though so her family can lay her to rest.
