According to the Sun’s link she left her work “for the drive home.”

I assume she was driving herself - a possible car accident :(? 17 miles back home, too...

Trying to google the area now.

Night shift work has its own special risks. I just returned from an international shiftwork research conference. 1 in 4 night shift healthcare workers have fallen asleep driving home from work in the past 6 months at least once.

I suspect that is what happened to this young woman. A tragic loss to the profession.
