Looking at derelict places near Milton Keynes it looks like a farmhouse, Eaton Bray may have been unoccupied in 2019 as advertised by Hunters Tring & Leighton Buzzard Estate agents in 2020 on YT and looks derelict.

S
And as a side-side-note, my father - who in fairness had dementia at the time - once gained access to a crime scene by flashing a Tesco Clubcard at a uniformed officer, who definitely should have known what a warrant card looked like. So the symbolic power of the words "I'm a police officer" definitely can't be underestimated.
SBM.
Wow!

Perhaps the man who had access to this property to feed the dogs (who didn't) is worth some interest? IMO
We don't know which property he had access too though as it was never disclosed in the newspaper article. As you say the house being empty around the same time Leah went missing could have given anyone a chance to enter the grounds.

Old Ley Farm, The Rye, Eaton Bray was just a place I stumbled upon by chance looking on YT channel and it was listed by Hunters Tring & Leighton Buzzard as being for sale but in 2020. It looks a bit neglected inside so possibly derelict for some time. There is a well in the grounds on some old maps.
Urban explorer sites have a few other interesting derelict places where a body could possibly easily be buried near Milton Keynes.
Saying all of this Leah may have chosen to disappear by her own accord. Someone thinking out of the box has said she could have joined the travelling circus that was there the same time she went missing.

The travelling circus appears to have left Milton Keynes around 17th February 2019 so two days after Leah went missing. They are known as Slothy Vlogs community on FB so it might be worth people looking through any photos around the time Leah went missing in case she visited the fair or to see if Leah is now working there. I would think if she was employed by them it would have been picked up on by now though.

That's not what I expected, it was a cold evening.

My thoughts were that she went to the funfair that was in the Furzton lake area at the time but the clothing doesn't seem enough for such a cold evening.

As her friend, I don't believe she ran away, but her GPS going off around that area on consecutive days leads me to think the funfair had something to do with it.

Could she have known or met someone there? Maybe she was planning on running away on the 14th but chickened out but went through with it the following day?

It's a real shame we don't have much information from the police that could limit the lines of enquiry within this thread and other forums.

Nice to keep talking about him - but he not responsible for Leah's disappearance, me thinks.
Another case of a policeman here from the same unit as Wayne Couzens charged with allegedly meeting someone on Tinder then allegedly raping them at a Premier Inn. He has denied the charge and will appear at St Albans Crown court on November 1st 2021,
Wayne Couzens' Met Police colleague 'raped woman after Tinder date'

I still wonder who Leah may have met at Travelodge, where she had booked and paid for a room with her bank card. Her February 3rd 2019 liaison if she was meeting with someone could hold vital clues.
Back to the whole subject of Tinder dates or similar, we do not know if Leah used any dating apps at all so may have come across someone who may have later abducted her.

Looking again at online dating, could Leah have been groomed by someone to join some kind of non legitimate dating agency. Did her stay in the Premier Inn involve meeting someone who she perhaps had seen a few times before and felt they were safe but they were in fact part of some kind of ring.
This happened to a woman near Milton Keynes two years after Leah's disappearance

Ref the thin, long-sleeved top she was wearing - maybe she was meeting someone in a warm car.

I wonder if police looked at who was staying at the Premier Inn during the time Leah went missing if that is close to the lake. How reliable is GPS being turned off at an exact location and not somewhere nearby. I am not in any way implying that the accused rape allegation person mentioned in the newspaper article could have anything to do with this but another Premier Inn is an interesting observation.

Just found this as well. An eye witness who thinks she might have seen her in a car. I've only just found this thread so sorry if it's already known about. Sounds similar to WC kidnap - apart from the hair (but he could have been wearing a wig).

Edit - sorry - wrong link. This is the correct one.

Yes I can see where people are coming from with looking into WC as his car (rather than the hire one) is black and shiny as per video found in this article. Missing Sarah's body found
Maybe police are looking into some kind of dark web group and seeing if WC was involved at all with Leah Croucher's disappearance.

This was discussed here a few days ago, and the witness does not seem very credible. It's difficult to see how she could have seen all the details she describes, as she must have been several car lengths away.

I agree with this and the could be put out there to take focus away from Mr X and Family

Leah lived at home with her parents and teens sometimes don’t want their parents to know what they’re doing. Could she possibly have been on internet dating sites and arranged to meet someone at a hotel from that? If then stopped by someone she had met before she would get into a car with them. Or - thinking of the WC case again - if a Police Officer stopped her and showed her his warrant card. I guess after all this time there isn’t much hope of finding further cctv.

But as with the SE case it sounds to me like her phone being turned off at the time she disappeared is significant.

The Met found a WhatsApp group of officers exchanging material and that included someone from another force in Norfolk.
