The parts about ‘you don’t need to contact me and dad’ in the second half? Makes it seem a bit like they think there’s a reason why she wouldn’t want to contact them? Fall out or whatever?

The first half about the holiday soon and picking the hotel the night before though made me think it’s unlikely she’s left by her own choice. Would have to be some fall out.

Did Leah have a falling out with someone outside the family? Was there someone with a grudge against her. I can't explain it but I'm getting a vibe from her parents appeal that they might already know that someone wanted to harm her.

All JMO and just throwing theories out there - is it possible that if Leah had a partner, they'd recently either broken up or had a fall out on/just before Valentine's Day, she told them that she'd helped her family choose somewhere to go on holiday, and they got mad that she was going away without them? Someone mentioned a while back that the other CCTV image of her indoors reminded them of when they'd overslept and rushed to work - granted we have no idea if that CCTV was on the morning she disappeared, but if it was, is it possible she hadn't got much sleep due to arguing with someone on the phone? Not wanting to cause any offence to anyone who may know Leah at all. I don't know if she has a partner and I know it might be a silly theory but I'm just throwing possibilities out there.

Given that it was Valentine's day the night before she disappeared I wonder whether someone broke her heart. Might explain why the family stressed that they will support her no matter what.

I'm trying to find out whether that image is from the day of her disappearance and where it was taken but I'm struggling to find any info regarding this online.

It's a bit strange to have a pic published like that and not say where it is or whether it's the same day or just a random close up of her.

Yeah exactly. I've seen it all over MSM but read nothing to clarify when it was taken.

It looks a bit like a station where you clock in for work but that's just what it reminds me of.

No, it's just the hotel is on the lake and the carpark is close to the lake. I was thinking of workers maybe taking a break, arriving early to do housekeeping etc. maybe witnesses

I don't think they would publish this picture if it were from a different day because it would imply she had been somewhere where she might not have been at all on the day she disappeared. jmo

Edit: Apparently it's a car boot area that's only open on Sundays.

Yes it's actually the Bowl. Its a big concert venue but carboot on Sundays!

“Perhaps these pictures of Leah will jog someone’s memory. Leah is white, slim, with below shoulder length brown hair and sometimes wears glasses.

“She was last seen dressed in a black coat, skinny black jeans, black Converse high top shoes and carrying a small black rucksack.

“Leah is known to travel on foot through the Furzton area and into Knowlhill.

“We have been carrying out a thorough investigation to find Leah and have created a dedicated team to this case.

“We have carried out house to house enquiries, knocking on about 4,000 doors, searched areas including Furzton Lake, and have been handing out leaflets in the city.

“We also have specially trained officers who are supporting Leah’s family at this difficult time.

“Leah’s family and friends intend to hand out leaflets in Milton Keynes at the weekend, and MK Dons Football Club has kindly agreed to run our appeal on their big screens at their game against Newport County tomorrow.

“Overnight we have had two unconfirmed sightings of Leah in the Knowlhill area, where searches are currently taking place. I want to thank everyone who is helping to find Leah and reiterate my appeal to anyone with information to come forward.”

Sightings in Knowlhill are odd. It's not a residential area. All offices etc

Looking at the map, I wonder whether the school nearby Buzzacott has any CCTV that would have caught her (if she walks that way). I also still really hope that LE have searched that Tellytubbie Hill area, lots of trees there for potential baddies to be hanging around.

It's not the station. I think you can see a parking bay line outside? My guess is workplace but tbh on Knowlhill the offices are more modern looking generally. I still think that's likeliest tho.
