Wow. Ok. Interesting. So he basically stops the car, calls the girl over (pretending to ask directions, perhaps?) and then tries to pull her into the vehicle?

I wonder if they caught this guy or have more information about him???

Oh the time is very worrying

Following that train of thought, I would be interested to know what website she was publishing her fantasy writing on. I wonder about the possibility of her unwittingly acquiring an admirer that way.
especially as it was fantasty fiction

Wasn’t it the 15th when she was seen on video...not 14th?

Would the car park have any cctv coverage?

The thing is that not all abductions need cars if the victim is concealed nearby. But being dragged to a car might be a possibility too.

Not read the whole thread yet just catching up.

But wondering if a car has passed her and then pulled up before the car park? Pretended to break down, flat tyre etc....

Would that make it easier to get someone into a car?

That caught my attention too.

They've had quite a while now though so if they have had access to any of her devices would they have not found something if she was chatting online to someone?

Google Maps

I'm trying to link the route that google maps suggested she would take which i screenshotted earlier, so people can zoom.

I think @Sera had worked out the exact location of where that CCTV was taken?

Sera?

Can you indicate which path and which direction? And what is the path called if it's not Buzzacot Lane? Thank you! :)

The road leading into the car park (Shirwell Cres.) would have been very busy at that time in the morning, so if she had approached a vehicle on the road there's a high chance she would of been seen by someone or caught on cctv on the office buildings that are opposite the car park entrance.

Presuming she had walked the most likely route, she would have had to leave the pathway around the lake and cut through the car park to get onto Shirwell Cres.

Google Earth

_20190225_105122.JPG The red dot is the path where Leah was caught on CCTV at 8:15am. The road just above that dot is Buzzacott. Looking at the map, she was walking up towards Buzzacott, so heading pretty much North. I have attached Google Earth link which will take you to the same spot I took the screenshot from if anyone wants to have a look for themselves.

If she had taken this route she would of been walking along a main road (Chaffron Way) which would of had heavy traffic travelling in both directions at 60mph. There's no pathway, so she would of been walking along the roadside. I'm pretty sure if this had been the case, she would of been seen. It's such a rarity to see a person walking near the main roads in Milton Keynes, they tend to standout like a sore thumb.

It's more probable that she turned right off of Loxbeare Drive onto Bilbrook Lane and followed the pathway around the lake.

Interesting post and wording from Thames Valley Police.

TVP Milton Keynes on Twitter

Olivia Joel disappearance NOT connected to Leah’s, “and Olivia is believed to have left by her own accord.”

Suggests they don’t believe that Leah is a runaway?

Olivia Joel disappearance is NOT CONNECTED IN ANY WAY to Leah’s,

Agree with you 100% that this now more than suggests that Leah has not runaway.
This is highly worrying as they are now into the 11th day of searching for her.

I don't think anyone thinks that Leah would have ever walked down the side of Chaffron Way, for the reasons you stated - nowhere for pedestrians to walk, very fast traffic etc.

Leah would most likely have either walked around the lake to get to Knowlhill, or used the underpass to go UNDER Chaffron to get to the Shenley Lodge area and then to Knowlhill.

_20190225_121928.JPG Red dot - Leah last seen 8:15am. Blue dot - underpass under Chaffron way, connecting Furzton to Shenley Lodge.

_20190225_121636.JPG Red circle shows the underpass under Chaffron Way (from Furzton to Shenley Lodge)

_20190225_121748.JPG Zoomed out image to show where the underpass (red dot) is in relation to Knowlhill and surrounding areas.

Hope this is helpful.
Edit - corrected "Shenley" as phone autocorrected to "Shelby" lol! Sorry.

If Leah didn't use the underpass to access Shenley to Knowlhill and she did walk around the lake, then the screenshots below show how she may have planned to access Knowlhill from the lake (the red dots show where she may have used underpasses to walk beneath the main roads).

_20190225_123341.JPG _20190225_123433.JPG

For easy understanding - the lake is in the lower left corner of both screenshots. Knowlhill (where Leah works) is in the upper right.

I don’t believe the theory that someone forced her into a car/dragged her into a car, she was a skilled martial artist, took part in tae kwon do tournaments, some stranger asking directions and grabbing her into a car would stand no chance, equally a guy leaping out of a bush while she walking down the footpath could likely be overpowered by someone with her skill set

Good point. Would she know how to defend herself against someone sneaking up from behind and putting a knife to her throat?

Having read this I believe she probably could yes

Taekwondo - Wikipedia

She is tournament level standard so highly trained

I would say it far more likely that if she is dead she knew her killer, maybe a secret liaison who does not use social media, maybe even someone she works with she was seeing on the side without need for phone/social media, and that she went willingly with this person and was drugged and killed

Ahh I see, if she had gone under the underpass into Shenley Lodge, she would have followed the redway system through the estate into Knowlhill. The Google map shows the route as directly along Chaffron Way, that's what confused me.
