Khun Vichai was a Thai self-made billionaire who started up duty free shop King Power in 1989, which is now worth an estimated £3.9 billion.

He celebrated his 60th birthday this year and marked it by giving away 60 free season tickets to dedicated fans and throwing a party for young hospital patients at Leicester Royal Infirmary.

He has four children with his wife Aimon.

Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha's wife and their son have laid a wreath alongside thousands of bouquets and tributes already left at the site.

It is believed the other people killed in the crash to be two members of Mr Vichai's staff, the pilot and his partner.

I didn't realise there was a thread on this until now.

Just wanted to pay my respects to Mr. Srivaddhanaprabha and the other victims of this awful accident.

He was an absolute legend of a man with a heart of gold, helping not only the football community, bringing us to premier league glory & fans but also acts of kindness towards local hospitals and more.

There will be a statue commissioned in his memory, hopefully soon but definitely in the works.

Such a sad sad loss, RIP to all x
