So many of these similar stories nowadays. Looking at Google Maps, my main worry would be that the River Clyde is not that far away from where he was last seen. I hope it is not another case of an intoxicated young person ending up in the river. :(

Cops still searching for young people missing after nights out in Glasgow
Meanwhile a separate appeal was launched to help find Lewis, from East Kilbride.

The 20-year-old was last seen in Montrose Street in Glasgow city centre around 1am on Sunday morning following a night out at Strathclyde Student Union.

Cops released a picture of the lad and an image of a coat he was wearing in a bid to help with their search efforts.

Inspector Aidan Higgins of East Kilbride Andrew Street police station said: “Along with his family, we are becoming increasingly concerned for Lewis’ welfare.

"It is very out of character for him to be out of contact with family.

“There was a potential sighting of Lewis this morning, Tuesday, 25 February, in the Broomiehall area of Glasgow.
