Why this popular Hull paddling pool has been closed all summer

Looks like it could possibly be one of the benches by the pool based on fact that it appears to be one of the single ones and because of the curvature of the cladding near to it. Wonder is it still used as a “makeshift football pitch.” The suspect does appear to be wearing something similar to a football outfit, possibly shorts, socks, stud boots. Could be an area he plays/ trains in and is familiar with. The graffiti in that park on Google is creepy as hell.

They weren’t there for long searching then ?
Hull Live had photos of the CSI vans in the car park around 19:44, they've just left so nearly an hour and a half. If they knew exactly what they were looking for, they've placed their markers, took their photos and left. Someone has given them very precise information IMO which allowed them to collect everything they needed very quickly. Over an hour is quite a long time if you think about it, especially if you know exactly what you're looking for.

Thanks I’m new so it seemed quick I thought they would put a tent over it etc and keep police there

Well unless they're being sent on a wild goose chase.

They must have a reason to keep going back to these playing fields, surely? Especially as it's pitch black now - it's like they know they're looking for something.

On the other side of the River Hull are several commercial facilities with goods yards. I’ve been wondering if their CCTV caught anything that happened at the playing fields.

When she was dropped off near her home around 11.30 two neighbours said she was falling over, so may have been bleeding from those falls?

It'd

It's quite a way out to the sea from the River Hull near the playing fields and even the drain into the River Hull. You also need a special license to pilot a boat out of the Humber Estuary as it's so muddy and dangerous so it feels unlikely but perhaps not impossible.

Thanks - it’s just a bit baffling that she’s not been found, with all the searches, and it being a populated area.

For all this looking at benches etc., the crucial point is that they still haven't found her. The police I feel are probably sure they have the right person, but he's either denying or not commenting, and they don't yet have that all important evidence that ties him with her sufficiently to make a charge that is going to stand up in court.

does Anyone know if this bench is in the location which matches where the reports of screams and a man running?

its rubbish we can't talk about things we read on social media coz there is loads being said
I disagree. I think it's good having somewhere to just discuss the facts and not get all the rumours mixed up in it. Anybody can suggest anything online, doesn't mean there's truth to it.

Am wondering what the graffitti says now

21:12 has passed with no word on charges so I presume he's set to be released?
