Viking FM reporting this

"An investigation is underway after a woman was sexually assaulted in West Park in Hull in the early hours of Saturday morning. Police say they are looking to see if it was linked to a previous assault in that area in December"

I know things like this are surprisingly common in cities, but could there be a connection?

She didn’t say that he put Libby in the car did she? She said a crying girl. That could have been anyone at that time on student night. I just can’t see how you’d make it stand up. I honestly think this is the gutter press manipulating his family’s poor English.

I know this might be covering some old ground but...
Given what we know of where the police have been searching/have already searched closely - if we assume P. has hidden Libby - where could she have possibly been hidden where she would not already have been found? (Besides the river)

Since we now know that he likes to enter proprerties and steal (keys?) any property vacant on that evening for which he has obtained a key

Children's toys taken from house
Our reporter says a family have just turned up at the house in a car. Police have brought possessions out of the home, including children’s toys, and put them into the boot of the car.

Officers were also seen removing belongings, including suitcases.

Libby Squire latest as forensics continue search of Raglan Street home

Won't that be because the wife and children need their belongings wheerever they are? They would have left in a hurry with limited stuff, it's natural that they need their things, especially with 2 small children.

Nothing to see here IMO

Always worth a look! I posted this upstream as well. This is what I mean about it being important to not have tunnel vision.

Ugh. I don't know why but this makes me so uncomfortable. I think it's just knowing what their dad has been accused of and what he might have done... Makes me feel so ill. Those poor kids.

If those two are linked PR can't be the culprit then?

I like this train of thought. B&E is apparently one of his MOs.

Not collecting evidence at Raglan Street- collecting the wife’s and children’s belongings on Hull Live lots of photographs.

I wonder at what point circumstantial evidence tips over into being enough to charge?

Just say police have cctv of him approaching
LS on the bench and her leaving with him and he admits she was in his car but claims he dropped her off somewhere, that’s difficult to disprove beyond all reasonable doubt.

Yes you’re right

He doesn't set off quickly. He sits there for another 30s or so
He closes the driver's door at 00.07.30 secs, and the car is moving by 00.07.45 secs? So, not a Starsky & Hutch-style getaway, but he's not hanging around? 15 secs isn't long.

How long has this guy lived in the area? Is anyone else missing from the area? What about SAs? Sorry for rehash.

Like I suggested, he may have sat thinking about whether to follow her or not for a few seconds before deciding on it and leaving.

Need to find Libby!

It just fundamental to charging

This is one of those cases where things have moved very fast considering we don't know where Libby is

Missing Libby Squire: Forensics remove bags of evidence as Raglan Street search continues

Police officers and forensic investigators are still searching a house in Raglan Street at the centre of the investigation into the disappearance of Libby Squire.

Detectives from Humberside Police have been seen leaving and entering the terraced house with boxes and evidence bags, with crime scene specialists also present.

The front door of the house, which is located just off Newland Avenue, was replaced with a metal sheet on Sunday, with a police guard now in place inside the house.

A reporter at the scene said officers were seen entering the property with ropes and helmets, and could be heard behind the metal door.

BBM - Sounds to me like they think something/one could be hidden in the house/inner wall etc if they need helmets and ropes...

Sounds like they are going to tear the house apart.

Guess the wife and kids are not moving back in anytime soon.

I'm going to move away from PR for the time being - IMO things are not looking good for him. That alongside LS disappearance and his locality it's a logical conclusion to join the dots and end with PR & keep part of the focus on him for the time being until they have exhausted all avenues, I genuinely think if he was stupid enough to be a position of being charged for mid-level crimes, and having kept incriminating evidence leading to those charges then LE would have found something incriminating to charge him with LS abduction
He has failed to cover his tracks once, so would likely fail a second time. If he did successfully cover his tracks, why not cover all of them, I personally do not think he is clever enough and something would have been found by now.
So IMO there is every single possibility PR did not have a part to play in LS going missing which means the real suspect is still out there, covering his/her tracks under LE's noses and LS is still missing...
