He works in a large food factory, there wouldn't be any opportunity to take anything on site IMO

Yeah, that's a good point. Previous factory I worked in had lots of security on way in and out. They'd often check your car boot and whatnot.

If he had to be at work the next day he might have had her body in the trunk until having a chance to dispose of her, perhaps along the way or on the way home.

someone mentioned on an earlier thread that his route to work could consist of 'off the grid roads' ...perfect opportunity to dospose if evidence.

Yes but even with the dead end, he only has to turn around a couple of corners to get to Beresford and catch up with her. It would be a very short drive and he's in a car - she's walking and presumably still drunk and a bit unsteady on her feet. He would have caught up quickly.

He would have to go round in almost a square and hit two main junctions to turn , plus I don’t think he’d try and get her in the car on the main road and I can’t see him driving at 2 miles an hour stalking her on her walk

I've done the taxi night shift in Hull many times. The junction between Beverley Road and Cottingham Road/Clough Road is not quiet at night. There is traffic. Particularly when the students are out clubbing.

Having parked up outside of Welly for pick ups on a few occasions, I can say that we do see drivers in cars parked up on the opposite side of the road seemingly just sitting there (no doubt these are illegal cabs).

Its not beyond the realms of possibility that LS was seen being bundled in to a cab by her friends and was recognised by one of those drivers. Its less than 5 minutes in cab at that time of night to where she lived. Could she have been followed home and then around to the bench?

Im not buying the story that this fella stopped because he saw her crying. He cant have just stopped. He was parked in Haworth street NOT on Beverley Road where he would have had to have been to notice her crying and pull over.

Also was the driver of the other car known to the guy that rolled a cig? It must have been parked there as its a dead end, so he was either in his car, in a house near the car, or standing near his car just out of vision.

As the car leaves Haworth St there is a Lidl supermarket that has a CCTV controlled card park, a pub called the Gardeners arms which has CCTV for the purpose of monitoring drunken altercations and the like. If he headed off toward Newland Ave as suggested, then there are plenty of CCTV spots down there two, a few council fitted on poles and numerous shop mounted. Tesco being the first.

Got to be pretty hard to hide a body in an Astra in the daylight though.

It's a pretty ghoulish situation to imagine oneself being in, but if it were me I would want to remove the body as soon as possible and drive it to a far away location on the same night. Then I would get the car cleaned as thoroughly as possible.

By the time he’s done that he could’ve caught up with her walking down Beresford or Heathcote...the possible screams heard?? It’s late and the roads would be quiet

It would be interesting to know which house the screams were heard from. When ive looked on google maps the houses are a little set back , would you hear a scream from deep inside the park? was this person mistaken and the screams where coming from outside the park.

I’m not sure how, but there is the chance she is somewhere having to do with his job, if not in the water or at his residence, moo.

Beverly Carter’s case comes to mind, perp buried her on his work property.

Many years ago terraces lofts were ajoined but I think now for fire reasons they have to be partitioned off by brick. As I mentioned up the thread it could be the loft in that property that’s separated?
