How many sick people like this guy have started out flashing, then ended up raping women

I agree, crimes like flashing or stealing underwear seem to still be considered as a bit of a joke by many. but it's about control and men trying to exercise control over women on their own. Very dodgy and serious behaviour.

The most obvious thing that strikes me when mapping the offences that he is charged for is that the map is clearly incomplete....as in there are obviously other offences OR something in particular drew him to wellesley avenue.
Because that sticks out as being outside his comfort zone (based upon the data currently known)

Are we 100% sure that Libby was not one of the girls whom he masturbated at on january 19th?

If by any chance she was, then that puts a really sinister twist on things.

And if that cluster of offences is any sort of guide..then we need not be looking very far for his missing offences or for a possible deposition site used by him - he's not exactly a journeyman offender

Oh heck. That gave me the heebie jeebies.

Seems to conflict

Here is a Detective working on the case quoted on this article as saying they believe now she may also have been seen in Beresford Avenue. After the bench and after midnight. Friend reveals last time he saw missing Libby Squire, 21, as hundreds join search

“We now believe she may have been seen on Beresford Avenue at around 12:05am.”
This would correspond with the time segment missing from the Haworth St cctv. Cuts from 00:03.39 to 00:06.04 when Megane exits the scene and our POI stands up possibly sighting LS coming back into view?

The official Humberside Police statement, dated after that Daily Star article, says they believe she was on the bench until 12.09

Wasn’t the Beresford Avenue thing based on a supposed sighting by some students? I wonder if it was subsequently discredited

Touch DNA might be possible on the light switch, door knob handles, etc if he did not wear gloves.

Touch DNA: From the Crime Scene to the Crime Laboratory

ETA- Actually it seems even with gloves:

“A suspect may touch his face or head and transfer a large number of cells to his hands or gloves. Also, the rougher the surface texture, the higher the probability of abrading skin cells. Stronger contact pressure applied to the item also increases that probability.”
Sorry I didn't mean there wouldn't be any, I meant there is absolutely no chance that the Police would have the budget to take and process DNA samples for a burglary. Often they just issue a crime number and don't even attend.

Beresford avenue is across the road from the bench, it leads up onto oak road playing fields
There's also a turn off that leads into her street, I wonder if she was heading back home

I have played the CCTV (DM) back at 0.25 speed. When POI reverses back to drive off, I can see a light which looks to be over on the passenger side,,,strikes me this could be a light from a mobile phone?
I can also see the person in the passenger seat flicking their long hair back, and putting a seatbelt on.
Any thought?

Here's a map view so you can see all the streets

JMO
I totally agree there has to be other offenses.

I also now wonder if that screwdriver and hammer that were found were tools hidden by him for whenever he decided to break into the next home around where they were found.

These are my best guesses for scenarios at the moment.

PR saw her and abducted her, maybe with a knife, or somehow coerced her in the car, perhaps under some guise (“me help you”).
Stats tell me he likely drive to another secluded location, maybe around a half hour away, could be a little less or more.

There he would have sexually assaulted her, then killed her. She is a witness now and maybe she fought back really hard.

From here there are two possibilities and I lean towards the first.

1a) disposed of her body at or near the location of the secondary crime scene where the SA occurred, perhaps brush or a shallow grave or water (if it was not an abandoned property where he took her)

b) Drove a further distance from the secondary crime scene to dispose of her body at a third crime scene area.

Or maybe he:

2) Kept Libby’s body in his vehicle trunk overnight then disposed of her along his route on his way to work or way home the next day.

(Shades of EA who went to work the day after abducting and killing Christina Morris. We see this all the time that LE says in their profiles “may have missed work the next day”, which is true but I’ve also seen plenty of perps go to work the next day, Chris Watts for example. Which there is another good example of a worksite disposal.

He would have to clean his car at some point.

3. I am not anticipating he brought her back to the home itself bc how would have have been able to assault or bury her in the walls or wherever if his family was there?

Just spent several hours playing catch up.

I think there is a link of sorts to female students. No surprise for an (alleged) perv on the loose in a Uni city, however... I am thinking the offences relate to female students living in groups as singletons. He knows where to find them, he watches them, he know where their *ahem* private items will be (bedside table drawer). He knows it spooks them out - I bet thats why the missing items were reported, because it's just too weird.

He has committed an offence on Libby's street. Was he watching her and her mates? Did she see him lurking near her house? Did he flash her and that's why she was distraught and moved away? Some women can't talk about these things. Was it a chance encounter or was he stalking her?

As a student in France, the pervs were drawn to our residence block. One drove up and down outside masturbating. We were flashed many times, we reported none. Some girls were traumatised, some (like us) shrugged it off as saddos. Just goes to show.

Another theory, way out there. What if he had Wellesley Road in his satnav/tomtom (stolen?) as a weird kind of trophy. He must have known how to get there, he had offended there. So he has to explain it to his wife for some reason, and she tells the sister. Be interesting to know if other locations are recorded.

All JMO ofc.

Some things I do know. Paternity pay is v low and low income guys often cannot afford to take it as such, although often use holidays instead. Maternity pay also hits low income families but IME eastern european women do take the maximum time off. My guess would be they don't earn a lot more than minimum wage either, so he may nick the odd electronic item as well if it's there.

The term butcher is misleading. He was no older than 19 when he came over, if he has worked there five years. Hardly likely to have a skill and it's a bacon factory. Not an organic shop in Primrose Hill.

One question though - trespass? Can anyone explain why this term is used, haven't come across it before like this.
To answer the trespass question, it means that it was not breaking and entering. He got into the property through an open/unlocked window or door.

I was thinking trespass because the premises were not secured. However there is the possibility that he had legitimate access to properties; maybe a second job as cleaner/handyman/rent collector/checking on condition of student rentals, but not at the times he gained access nor for the purpose of taking the items he did

I need to go and rewatch the police statement. From memory I thought they said she had “left the area” by 12:09am

3. I forgot three, just a second lol

Rule out 2), there would be enough forensics to charge him ten times over.

Prostitution is so bad Hessle Roaders plan to tackle it themselves

I believe Hessle Road runs off Beverley Road. I wonder if the area around the bench/ Haworth Street is known for sex workers? Could explain why P or unknown smoking man (if not P) were parked in that area near the dead end

Interesting! Given his sexual interests, I wouldn’t be surprised if he potentially had contact with prostitutes - I see in October 2018 an Eastern European man wanted more than agreed business with prositutes in the Hull area and when refused, became aggressive. Wonder if there is any connection (Info from a keeping sex workers safe website)

First time poster here, but lurker for quite a few years now. Think I have a serious websleuth addiction
