I really do think the media are emphasising on the fact he works in a butchers to be honest with you. Yes he is a sexual predator who likes to get his nuts out in public and has an alleged obsession with sex toys and woman’s underwear but there’s no proof he’s done anything more sinister at this stage.
remember he hasn’t been convicted of the ‘sexual predator’ charges .... yet

I'd be surprised if this wasn't a reference to the Welly footage....

My first post. I've read all the threads. I have a couple of things to note. This is the first:

Regarding the clothing worn by the person in the CCTV camera footage obscured by the supposed spiderweb, when I first looked at it the person seems to me to be wearing very tight skinny jeans that are light in colour. Yet I've read some people suggesting the person has bare legs, some suggesting the person is wearing shorts and others suggesting the person is wearing three-quarter length cycling leggings. The footage is so poor it's impossible for me to even guess at what footwear the person is wearing, so perhaps there's not much point in the question.

Then we have the sighting above from the father of the witness from the house in the park, who said the man his son saw running "was not dressed for the weather". I wonder how good a view the son had. I wish he had clarified what "not dressed for the weather" meant and what the person he saw was wearing.
The footage is poor in general, but the one thing that looks clear to me is the fact that the man in is wearing shorts.

I work in the warehouse in a chicken factory. My end I see it in nice packets ready for the supermarkets. However, it's pretty gruesome the other end. After the birds are gassed, all the blood, feathers and entrails are siphoned off into separate tankers before it's taken somewhere else to be incinerated. He's only going to see blood if he's working at the very start of chain. Think the papers are playing up the butcher role. It'd be like calling me the Adolf of Chicken Auschwitz when all I do is make sure the supermarket pallets are picked and loaded correctly.

I agree. After working for the Meat Hygiene Service inspecting abattoirs including visiting the Bacon Factory where PR works, it depends greatly which part of the process one works in. It suggests he’s in packaging, so nothing gory going on. It does add drama for the media to describe him as a butcher tho of course!

& he bakes cakes - acquit this man now!!!!
This made me LOL.

His mum really needs to stop talking. She's sounding ridiculous by saying things like that.

I believe they originally got the description of 'butcher' from his FB page. It was in Polish on his page where it says occupation, I ran it through a translator and the word came back as 'butcher'.

I had a look on google the other day and the red brick house has its driveway leading up to the property on Oak Road just right hand side after the entrance to the car park. I can see that there is a fence separating the car park. When looking down on the house I first thought it was part of the park and was maybe a lodge house, but now having seen the driveway think it may be a private property. I could be wrong though.

I think it's probably a private property that used to be a park-keepers lodge, back in the day.

She's only talking because the media keeps calling her. She probably is genuinely struggling to comprehend what's happening, and can't believe what her son has been charged with - let alone what else he might have done. I feel sorry for her - she must be utterly confused and bewildered by it all.

This is yesterday's CCTV, it's only just been picked up by the BBC about three hours ago, Channel 5 obviously watching BBC for news.

JMO
I saw a tell tale "ring" around his leg where the biker type shorts ended just past his knee a little ways past the knee.

<snipped for brevity>

I'd hazard a guess that "not dressed for the weather' would be shorts or a t-shirt or both. It's what made many of us think maybe there's a connection between car man and running man.

Welcome, by the way!

Channel 5 just tweeted it so I presumed something was on their program even if it’s yesterdays cctv

Yep that's true. It's not something that would be easy to get your head around. The media should leave the families alone.

Just bringing this forward from thread #2

Timeline:

11pm ish Libby gets in taxi at Welly
11:18pm Libby turned away from Welly, 11:22pm Libby put in taxi
11:29 Taxi drops her near home on Wellesley Av. Neighbours saw her stumbling in street.
11:40 - 11:45 caught on CCTV on bench. Around this time grey beard man stopped to offer assistance, she declined, police have cleared him
11:49ish PR? car arrives on Haworth Street (per ITV CCTV)
12:04-12:06 ish man smoking (CCTV)
12:08 passenger door opens and someone/something is on passenger seat
(CCTV)
12:09 car drives away (CCTV)

12:09 police say Libby had left the bench by now
12:19 the same car (tbc) seen Newland Av (per Sun CCTV)
12:15-12:30ish dark and eerie screams coming from park for 15 minutes
12:30ish man seen running from park
12:30ish scream and banging gate heard from Heathcote St near Libbys house.

So if we are dubious about the 12:19 car being the same make and model as the 12:09 car from spider cctv and if we could account for any reason why 12:30ish screams /banging gate may not be relevant , the timeline would look so much neater ..... just my thoughts , how long would it take to drive from Haworth to the park ?

Ah, I thought I'd taken 12:19 out (I can't edit as the mods copied it over) as it hasn't really been mentioned since and the general consensus was there are plenty of silver Astras in the area AND it didn't fit in with the timeline really.

I'll re-do the timeline towards the end of this thread ready for the next one. I do like things tidy!

I see the bottoms of the shorts move in the CCTV pretty clearly. I think he is also then wearing lyrca running trousers or knee socks - this kind of thing

I wounder if the police managed to check all the bins around the park area before they were emptied, not so much for libby i was thinking more weapon or clothing that might have been disposed of,

I can't copy the post over because it was in the previous thread, but it was a query as to whether there could be an innocent explanation for spider web cam guy's actions. I think there absolutely could. For example this:

His girlfriend/ mum/ brother/ sister/ wife .... works in one of the establishments on the main road, they finish shift at 12, he parks up there where it's not too busy, away from the heavy traffic, and walks up to meet them from their shift to give them a lift home
