I think I know the one you mean! I wonder how dark it is in the park at night? And if it's possible to see the pond if it was pitch black.

Good question! What moon was it that night? Full, half, quarter, none visible?

"Did you notice that when they were searching PR's house, they were looking at the loft FROM THE OUTSIDE with an infrared camera. They absolutely would have been all over the inside of that loft, probably also with infrared."

What is being inferred here? That it was done for show?

This thread has really shown me how useless grainy CCTV footage is!

From all of us viewing it we have discovered that,

there is a silver Astra that may or may not be PR's is in the shot.

Also that the Astra may not be an Astra.

That the man is PR and also isn't PR.

That the man is wearing shorts, or trousers, or joggers, or long socks.

That the man is masturbating or smoking or texting. Possibly all three.

A girl gets in the car herself.

A girl doesn't get in the car.

A girl is placed in the car.

A bag is placed in the car.

And that meanwhile, a screaming fox is out on the pull.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HAHA I have laughed my head off reading this! Sorry, no disrespect to Libby who we all want found asap, but that was some great light relief!

Its not something British people do. I'm not sure about Polish people but I doubt it.

It certainly is! I'm British, and I don't know any men who don't do it

A few thoughts:
When spider cam first appeared I always thought it looked liked he helped her in and then lent across and did her seatbelt for her.

Now let's say she did leave the park in the boot of his car, alive...
What's the chances of him being able to clean away any traces of her being there before he was arrested?

plenty

Not inferring anything, just an observation.

But I hadn't thought of that, but it is a possibility yes. It was a developing national story at the time, and it may have been done just for process and for show.

My point was just about how fine the Police can search for something if they are sure they will find something.

I still think your reply should say more than probable instead of yes .....

I can tell the make and model of pretty much any car even from a vague outline. Spent 40 years in the trade nearly. I'm a complete car nut right down to extreme details on models.

I'll tell you one other thing.

When the engine is running in these old Astras and the car goes over 10MPH you cannot open the doors without pressing a button on the dashboard centre console, that means if she wanted to jump out of the car at traffic lights, she couldn't without pressing that button. Nobody else knows or has mentioned this. Automatic locking mechanism. When you turn the engine off, back to normal.

I get frustrated when some good suggestions are mooted on a thread then the thread closes within a few posts and you can't click reply on it.

WHO mentioned about the bike and explained why they had worked out it was PR on the bike? Can you come back here and explain again please?

I’m just catching up so may well of been answered , person said they translated polish MSM and it said he was on a bike with a balaclava but a link was asked for but nothing came back (same with someone saying she was lying on floor by bench etc when bearded man stopped but no link given when asked so presume just gossip )

Interesting piece of knowledge.

*Resists urge to ask questions about annoying features on my own car*

I was wondering about the cameras, we are told in the press that they were 'infrared' but were they?

They could have been regular cameras looking for evidence that was thrown up on the roof...or in places the police couldn't access easily. Please feel free to correct me if this is wrong.

I'm probably just going to lurk on here for a while unless there are any major updates or breaks in the case. I do enjoy reading everyone's theories and opinions etc but I feel it's got to the point where there aren't enough facts and too much speculation and we all just seem to be going over the same things over and over again. It feels a bit like there's just 6 threads of people talking about police searching the same places, whether LS is in the river and whether PR's towed car is the one in any of the CCTV. I'll still be here and probably post links to any new articles with new info that pop up but other than that I just feel there's not really anything else for me to discuss that's not already been talked about a dozen times. I just hope LS is found soon.

I hear you.

When I saw them with the cameras in the roof I thought it looked like they were looking in the guttering.

Even educated fleas do it.

You're wrong there Atoz. My ex husband was a professor and an insect and he didn't. My father, though not a bug, went to a very posh university and he didn't. I transgress.

I think the person who got in the passenger side of the car was pushed, herded or manipulated in. Not the subject of good manners or being looked after. Far from it. There was ill-intent involved.

Yes, exactly! They're very hidden. I doubt most park users even know they're there. The police will have had a proper look at the map, won't they?!?!

I'd hope so!! tip em off Cags

ooh ooh I'm like that with RAF aircraft but that's not so useful here I guess...

I assumed they were normal cameras and had discovered the attic space was his domain and therefore looking at the possibility he may have disposed of something via the skylight window.

Yes, please clarify what was being inferred. Thanks

If was the cyclist, I would have contacted policed, not ITV.
Maybe they have, though I doubt they saw a thing.

I can’t rule out that she had an accident, a fall etc...not seeing her seemingly drunk and others seeing her falling down. Or that is she is there, someplace, near where they have already searched. Yes, the appearance of this alleged peeper-burglar is certainly ominous but so many cameras...could he have avoided them all except one?
