Commenting further, a Humberside Police spokesman has said hundreds of hours of CCTV footage has been watched by detectives trying to piece together Libby’s movements, along with “behind the scenes” action taking place to identify leads.

“Wide-ranging searches have also taken place over the last 14-days with help from numerous teams including underwater search officers, dog handling units, support officers from neighbouring forces, teams from YorkSAR and LincsLSAR, assistance from Humberside Fire and Rescue, the Coastguard and from National Police Air Service,” a spokesman said.

“In addition, the support from the public and businesses in Hull has been overwhelming, with supportive messages, kind gestures of assistance from leaflet and poster drops to digital media adverts and offers of help and cooperation with the investigation in many different ways.”

Actually after she got out of the taxi near her house and was described as stumbling around the floor she could,d have been searching the ground for them. It's just another vital detail that hasn't been released but I suspect if that was the case they would probably have been found.

When I was a student many years ago, we used to hide a key in the bush outside our house, so if we didn’t take a key or lost it whilst out or often that we didn’t trust ourselves not to lose it, we knew there was one available near the house door. Seemed a good idea, unless you’re being watched by a knicker nicking masturbator that is, who also then knows...

We’re British love! We work in miles and kilometers. We also say alumiNIUM, coriander and petrol station
This is some fabulous dry Northern UK humour just in case you over the pond were wondering.

and some women hold their money in their purse which they might put into a handbag. * winky face time*

Good to know Libby's fate is in the hands of a police force that can't even start a press conference on time.

Is there a video link to press conference - can’t find one on Hull Live or Sky News? Was busy juggling kids and dodging weirdoes in my own local park

I can't wait any longer. Back later.

Very late with the PC but given all the statements already drip fed I doubt it is worth it now. The below quote makes it clear they won't answer questions or show any CCTV IMO.

While I understand everyone will have questions in relation to the enquiries and searches we have carried out, at this moment in time we are not in a position where we can provide answers without jeopardising the investigation or any potential future prosecutions.

The only potentially interesting thing is the 12:05 time in relation to the 12:09 Haworth Street car. Is that car related or not? Surely it can be officially ruled out if unrelated? I hope the press ask.

Even if she were alive and kept locked somewhere, it’s unlikely she survived this long, what with the lack of food and water, stress, and possible wounds.

The live is now on the humberside police Facebook, it’s only brief though and doesn’t say anything we don’t know already.

Thinking of taking a walk to Oak Road Park within the next hour or two. But hesitant because of the police presence. Don't want to step on their toes, and really don't feel like being harangued by the Hull Daily Mail etc. What does everyone think? Pretty sure the park is generally still open, we've had dog walkers around there commenting on things. I'd intended to have a nosey about around the river end, check out the gradients, get a feel for distances and so on, maybe take some snaps if the opportunity avails itself. Bad idea?

I did a drop off at Ormonde road today and had to travel down Beresford. No police presence.
My next job was to be picked up at Exmouth street which joins Raglan. Again no police presence.

I'ts just been on the Humberside Police Facebook Page....He just read out the statement that was provided before hand.

Well that was short.

Was literally just them reading out the statement, no questions taken. They had replicas of Libby’s clothing in the room though

The last sighting of Libby is believed to be around 12.05am on Beverley Road at the junction with Haworth Street on Friday 1 February, where she was wearing a black denim skirt and faux leather jacket as pictured and distinctive trainers.

Why 12:05 not 12:09 ???? When they have been using 12:09 for days ???
