If she was as drunk as they say I want to know how she got across Beverley Road to get to the bench. There is a green man crossing near it, but would someone so drunk be able to use it? It is a busy road so did she meander through the traffic? Did someone help her? Did PR see her then?
yes, I'd say a drunk would be capable of using it, a red light is always stop, and green tells the brain you can go, even if you stagger and sway across the road.

1. I'm wondering why it has taken 2 weeks for LE to show what Libby was wearing?

2. Maybe totally off the wall, but....maybe Libby ran into the park to get away from someone, knocked at the door of the house in/near the park....maybe she's in that house?

I took some video from my cycle camera this morning.

I start at the end of Beresford Avenue. You can see the car gates are locked, but there is easy pedestrian access. I did a couple of circuits of the pond area.

There is an attached map of the route also.

Excuse the Palm D'Or camera work, the bike camera gets knocked sometimes!

1) - 0:36 The alternative entrance to the park, closer to the skate park. The car gates are locked, the pedestrian gate is open.

2) - 2:00 Arrive at the pond. Does a circuit of the pond.

3) - 3:02 The opposite side of the pond from the buildings. On the left is a strip about 5 metres wide, then the trees/scrub continues on the other side of the Croda fence.

4) - 4:18 Up the ramp to the river bank, to turn back left towards the abandoned buildings, from the river side.

5) - 5:20 Turn left way from the river after passing all the abandoned buildings to our left,

6) - 5:39 turn left again, off the path into the undergrowth towards the ruined buildings

7) - 6:20 Inside the compound

8) - 7:30 Back towards the pond.

9) - 8:30 Back up the ramp to the river bank; at the top of the boat steps going down into the river, about to double back the other way along the river.

10) - 8:56 Past the top of the ramp again (on the right), following the river path, on the other side of the trees from the pond.

11) - 10:00 Turn right off the river path, back down the embankment to rejoin the path around the pond.

12) - 10:55 Turn left, leave the pond path, heading back to Beresford park.

A) - The shipping container they were trying to open

B) - The intact locked boathouse that they were opening today.

C) - The area that they were 'searching' today. Clearing brambles with power strimmers.

D) - The main car park, including the porters hut.

E) - The gatekeeper's cottage

And the occupants just haven't noticed that this hugely publicly searched for girl is in their house?

PR's sister is quoted directly by The Telegraph, his mother also says the sister told her the same account, so I doubt this can be dismissed apart from the small chance the sister is making it up, on 2 occasions - which there isn't much reason for.

" Paulina Szymanska told The Telegraph: "I don't believe my brother could do it. We were raised to be good people.

“He was driving and he stopped because he noticed a girl crying.

"She asked him to take her home, so he put her address into his sat nav and wanted to do just that.

“Apparently she threw herself at him, but he pushed her away because he is a married man."
“Pushed her away” or maybe pushed her away, out of his car? Maybe that’s what he’s claiming?

The resident car expert on here said without any shadow of doubt the cobweb car was the same as his car on the transporter , he told us that was a FACT .... not 90 % sure ..... he knew it was FACT
I and many others here and on social media don’t agree. The wheels are different. I have been saying that since cctv was released. Nobody could say 100% that it is even an Astra let alone PR Astra.

Thank you so much for this! I kept thinking "wow, it's so pretty with the sunrise" and then feeling really uncomfortable knowing that Libby might be there somewhere... Such an eerily beautiful place.

He has indirectly through his sister.
We only have her word to go on there so I don’t think it would be wise to take it as fact until law enforcement confirm it.

BBM , I still haven''t been able to find an MSM source for Libby having fallen off the bench - has anyone else please
It was a single 'spoof' report by some joker I would say.

I respect your opinion and your approach to exploring all possibilities but I'm going to have to cross this theory off my list. I really don't think Libby is being kept in the park house.

I just struggle to believe ITV would have gone ahead and run that footage if it was known to be him.

Also I would think passing cars and foot traffic was quite high in that area with a takeaway, late night Sainsbury's and pub close by. Someone surely saw Libby go to that car if that is what happened?

Actually this is one of those details that I think has got mixed up in this case. Police have only ever said Libby is seen on CCTV on Beverley Road near the bench. Not actually sitting on it. In earlier statements by Humberside they have said she may have been in the area until 12:09 (a subtle reference to the spiderweb cam) but now have ruled it out but can't/don't want to say yet?

My initial thought when I first watched the video was that due to the close proximity to the pub, was that the guy had come to collect his barmaid partner/wife/daughter/lover whichever, from the pub, pub hours being listed as closing at 12, they have said they’re not quite finished, be another 10 mins, so the guy says he’ll wait in the car then come back. (I’ve done this many times when I’ve gone to pick up my daughters from work) He goes back, unlocks the car, sits and has a smoke/googles. (He noticed Libby on his way back). He then walks back to pick up his female, noticing Libby no longer there. He opens the car, female gets in, looks to me like she puts a coat or bag in the footwell before getting in, he then gets in and they drive off.
Police confirm this to be correct and adjust the last timed sighting.

Knicker nicker rides past on his bike during this time, chats to sobbing girl, offers to nip and get his car to give her a lift home.

One too many silver astras in this version perhaps tho!

I also wonder how much searching they have done down Oak Road, leading to Clough Road. We walk down there of entertainment and it feels very remote but there is some lighting and you could drive down it a bit as well.

That's the way I walked to/from the park today. I live in East Hull so wanted to be back down Clough Road... cuts the corner off, otherwise I'd have to go down Beresford, Bev Road and right round. :) I did keep my eyes open and walked right up to the fence to see if there were any relevant items of discarded clothing, etc. Can't say I noticed anything... just old beer cans, the odd moss-covered (clearly old) man's jacket, etc.

It's such a large area full of rubbish, it'd be like finding a needle in a haystack. :|

If that was the case, why would PR's sister and mother both tell the media that LS was in his car?
If that is in fact the case we don’t know that’s exactly what was said and how the statement came about. How were the questions worded. Did she understand what was being asked?
I would not imagine the sisters English is that good as she does not live here.
The truth is we don’t know what she said or why she said it.

When someone goes to the park tomorrow can they check the bench just to make sure it doesn’t say ‘Pawel was ‘ere’

From what I'm reading here the police only seem to be doing small searches in that park and not one big search with dozens and dozens of officers and dogs etc. I mean a very thorough fingertip search with them in lines. They seem to be just in small groups searching specific areas don't they? I wonder why that is? I know it's a big park but I find it odd. Wonder if it's to be seen to be doing something but they don't think she's in that park. Maybe they think he drove her somewhere else.

Jmo they should have scent dogs out there both with Libby’s scent as well as dogs trained to find human remains, really in every step of the search...

I am not sure if they would cut back so stuff in such a painstaking way to look for items...but then if they happen to find something, so much the better.

Those abandoned buildings look so creepy!

I've been rewatching the CCTV from Haworth street. And I adjusted the contrast and increasesd the brightness and now I am convinced that it's a man getting into the passenger seat. I'm really sure that it's not Libby. First off the person looks to be wearing dark trousers and looks bulky like a man.

Also that first movement that could be a bag being thrown in the basck seat. Spookily looks like someone in the back of the car reaching forward and then being pushed back.
