So the Hull Daily Mail skipped its routine morning "Police are back in Oak Rd Park" update today, it seems. I assume if they were there they'd be eager to report it for the sake of keeping the story active? Has anyone been down Oak Rd today and seen police?

I know visible searches are neither here nor there if there is thought to be no prospect of a discovery, yet as much as they may just have been a routine process of elimination, there was something reassuring about it. And surely they didn't manage to search the full length of the Croda fence - on both Oak Rd + riverside - as well as whatever area of land it contains in just a few hours?

Now it seems like we're at a dead end publicly. We won't know anything unless and until whatever they're working on behind the scenes leads them back out. That could be a long time, if ever.

Does anyone else have the sinking feeling that this is pretty much it for us for the foreseeable future? :(

Getting there if I'm honest.

I have hope that the police know exactly what they are doing and have much more evidence than we could imagine but I must admit as her story slips from the news I'm thinking we may have hit a brick wall for now.

I do think the truth will come out eventually though and she will be found.

Apologies if this has been addressed and I missed it - was the dug up ground by the wind turbine which was found by one of the forum users (sorry can’t remember who) ever investigated further or reported to 101? It would be interesting to see if police acted on this?!

Not heard it mentioned since the other day to be honest.. I'm assuming it wasn't reported.

As nothing is happening I've been skim reading a few articles on the psychology of flashing.

Interesting stuff, general opinion seems to be that it is often a result of sexual and/or emotional trauma in childhood. The rest is hard to judge as you get the impression that the 'experts' don't want to make themselves unpopular by expressing any kind of sympathy or empathy for people who do this.

Most commonly starts with men at a young adult age. Urges do not go away without therapy, it's not a phase thing.

Most people that flash are not classified as dangerous (everything is relative).

There is an element of adrenaline rush from taking the risk and getting away with it, this can get addictive.

They could have taken the car just to check it for evidence but the reason they arrested him was because they saw him talking to her on street. Their could be a multitude of reasons they suspected him that didn’t involve the car. Maybe they already had him on the radar for flashing. He could have been arrested for that previously but released for lack of evidence.
Lets mix and match.

Say LE has definite knowledge that PR and LS got into PR's car on Haworth ( the same car as was taken away post-arrest)and left as on the only cctv weve been able to view. Then PR's car was subject to intense forensic analysis (as we can safely assume is the case) but returned nothing other than confirming LS had been only in passenger seat? Where would that leave LE.?

Exactly where they probably are now.

They know she was in the car but can't prove he harmed her.

Which is why I think another car was involved in moving evidence.

Exactly how / when do you mean Joolz?

I'm wondering if he borrowed anyone else's car either later that night or early the next morning before the police were searching so much.

I know the general consensus is she is in the river and she probably is but I have a niggling feeling she was moved.

I'd like to know this too.

Easy to say 'my car is broken' can i borrow yours? I hope they have interview all his co workers and people he is close to at the factory.

Did someone post something that the factory only operates monday through to thursday and it doesn't operate on a Friday?

How many people would keep quiet about it?

PR: Can I borrow your car?
Mate: Sure

PR gets arrested for abduction.

Mate: Hello is that the Police............

Yes someone did post that they work Monday through Thursday, no idea where they got that information from.

Yes think someone googled it and said they don't operate at weekends.

I'd thought before that maybe he spotted her on his way home from work but if he's been at work all afternoon/evening wouldn't he be in a rush to get home (surely his wife would he tearing her out and wanting a break from two young kids).

Maybe he had worked the early shift that day probably finished mid afternoon then waited till kids in bed and told her he was going to gym and a friends or something.

Or maybe he just pleased himself and didn't consult with his wife who knows.

I know if my hubby had been at work all afternoon/evening I'd be wondering when they were going to be back.

Here it is, Griffinlay:

Ryuk posted them this morning and gives a good insight to how those roads look at night.
Definitely a silver Astra parked just down from cobweb cctv. With how bad the parking is down there it’s not hard to see why cars would have to park in different spaces at different times. No way to guarantee you could park in the same time each time. Maybe passenger had to walk down to car from a house.

Someone that's maybe got something to hide themselves??

Your probably absolutely correct I'm just putting my thoughts out there.

If you are humouring my narrative theorising....then where has he left LS until the car swap , given the car boot etc is clean?

What struck me about that is how busy it still was for the time of night.

Even on the side streets lots of lights on in houses etc.

I'd have no worries walking around there in the dark on my own.

Probably not near the park but definatly in the well lit areas.

In the park? He could have gone back pretty quickly after.

Am I been too paranoid? Probably am my mind runs away with me when I've had a drink in the afternoon.
