And there in one sentence is the crux of the issue.

Unfortunately I also think that the park is a massive red herring.

The last KNOWN POSITIVE activity surely is Libby getting in the car.

REGARDLESS of bench of CCTV we KNOW she got in his car because HE TOLD US.

So was that AFTER she was on the bench? If so, then we have ABSOLUTELY NO LEADS that Libby got out of his car.

If we are dealing with that then the concentration has to be on the car, and for the Police, surely if she was in PRs car that got towed away, and HE DROVE her away from Hull in that car, isn't that going to get picked up on traffic cams somehow somewhere? What of NPR? I know it only 'pings' when it gets a hit, but it has to electronically put that number plate into an initial database FIRST to be able to match with the database of wanted numbers. So surely, if x number of weeks/months down the line there must be a record of every car that passed thru an NPR check?

If PR is just outright lying and he/they used another car then is that a completely cold trail if that car is practically unidentifiable?

The man from the local press was of the opinion that trafficking was involved. If that is the case then it darkens the whole aspect in many ways. 1) It means that PR is possibly working for someone who offers him more protection/danger than the UK authorities 2) She could have been anywhere in the country very quickly that night. 3) These people may already have networks/facilities in place to move people very quickly and completely off radar. 4) Which also means that they may be well practised on the theory and practise of stealth while committing crimes, and leaving very little trace.

That whole scenario leaves me cold. Incidentally, there is quite a large and growing Eastern European 'prostitute/slave' problem in Hull, as elsewhere. 'They' often rent houses, often for 6 months, and fill them with Eastern European girls, largely undocumented; predominantly Romanian/Hungarian, often it's above a shop/takeaway. The question that always bothered me was how the girls were always undocumented (or had fakes) - meaning the gangs running these brothels had the means to traffic people across borders, (Hull has a large commercial container dock on the Humber) and also the means to forge passports.

For non-Europeans - Hungary and Romania are not Eastern Europe, it starts with Ukraine

Cut & paste:

UN Statistics Division lists Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Romania, and Poland as countries in Eastern Europe. Other sources include Montenegro, Serbia, Albania, Croatia, and Bosnia in this list as well as the Baltic countries

Just because certain gates and access routes are locked or impassable today doesn't mean the same was true on the night in question.
And you may get under the fence, like foxes do, in some overgrown hidden area?
edit....this post has attached to the wrong quote even though I checked.
It related to the spiked steel fence around Croda.

In the absence of much else of interest happening, would it be useful to try and put together a list of questions that locals could check out and answer, so we have them all in one place?

I asked a few earlier but it's hard to scroll through and find out if they were answered (I've messaged Tricia about this, to suggest a list of quoted posts alongside the list of liked posts). I don't mind collating something so we have it nice and tidy!

I'm trying to catch up with posts so sorry if these have been answered/discussed previously. Maybe stupid questions but things on my mind

1. The cobweb CCTV has now been out there for some time so if this was not PR and LS entering the car would we have seen an update saying that this had been discounted as someone had come forward as picking their partner etc up from work? We were told that the taxi driver and the man who stopped had come forward and eliminated.

2. The detection equipment used to search lofts etc in Raglan Street from the outside (not sure what it was called). Do we know if this has been used in the streets where LS lived to check outbuildings etc or has there just been a visual search.

Hadn’t seen this one before...I know this is the year P moved to Hull, I don’t know which month.

I thought he only moved into Raglan street 24 months or so ago, and that that was his first house in Hull? Either way, 6ft sounds a bit generous for our man P. He looks like a bit of a short-arse to me?

For people disputing possible communication between LS & PR, are you saying this not possible?

People have commented in CCTV about Libby having a phone..

So say PR has 2 phones and LS has 2 phones. LS has one she takes on nights outs in case she loses it(cheaper model) PR has a 2nd phone for work / pleasure / illicit activities / international number to contact family

Are you telling me the phone police have might be the one LS left at home intentionally. That night, that whatever happened LS has a 2nd phone and that is wherever she is now. PR if guilty of anything connected to LS, surely in between her going missing and him getting arrested has the ability to destroy / get rid of any phone that would connect him to her?

This scenario I suggested earlier at least gives logic to why she did not go home and how she ends up on the bench at the end of his road.

Go for it, that’s s great idea.

Q1 is there CCTV on the school gates on Beresford Av?
Q2 is there CCTV anywhere near Libby's house?
Q3 how long does it take to drive from Bev Rd, along Beresford, onto Wellesley and back to Bev Rd junction?

Keep 'em coming!!
