Just thought that too but the footage is so grainy and dark that I think it's hard to tell.

Local question wise, I’d like to know if there is an increased police presence on the streets of Hull this week, around bars, student areas, Newland etc?

Yes there definitely is. BUT what I find strange is that the police have not said that everyone should be vigilant, go out in pairs etc, nor have they said people should not worry. That makes me think that they strongly believe they have the culprit but they can't say it. It doesn't do anything to settle me though.

I'm starting to think that on day 1, the police went to the bench where Libby was last seen.

Then saw the camera on haworth

Then saw the whole version of the CCTV and saw pr put Libby in and drive off.

Then they watched pr to see if he led them to libby and when he didn't they arrested him.

When he denied seeing her they probably showed him the CCTV and he admitted it was him and that he dropped her off.

Then he probably.used his phone call to call his sister and tell her that he gave Libby a lift and she made a move and to tell the rest of the family.

Totally agree. I don’t think PR is part of a human trafficking gang, he’s too much of a liability, too impulsive as shown by the types of charges he’s accused of (IF of course he is guilty).
I do think the the idea he’s abducted Libby is plausible. To me it seems a natural step from stealing vibrators- he has deliberately been interested in having intimate items and the opportune chance to now add an attractive female to his ‘trophy cabinet’ Though warped could be a definite possibility. This would explain some of the strange wordings in the mother’s statement. The first one definitely sounded as though it was aimed at an abductor and the phrase in the second one about ‘she expects her siblings to behave’ seems like a signal to an abductor that she is compliant and won’t do anything rash so don’t panic and hurt her.
Been waiting for membership to be approved but been following the thread since it began!

I completely agree about seeing knee boots. Everything adds up except that part. Could quite easily be due to how grainy and dark it all is.

One thing I notice is the person sits in the car and the door closes (can't see snow any more) then ~13 seconds passes/footage sped up before the driver appears at the drivers side.

Clearly if this was an abduction then the driver is extremely cool to take so much time (whatever he was doing) before getting in and driving off.

I agree, I can't say it's an impossibility obviously but I do find it unlikely in the extreme that PR is involved with trafficking. These people would want to remain hidden and blend in, not stand masturbating in the street and breaking into houses to steal vibrators risking bringing the police to your door.

I do think if PR was responsible then he would have done something stupid like taken a "trophy" of some sort. If he's allegedly been taking other personal items of women then surely he'd want a personal item from this woman too?

It also begs the question, does he have access to another property or storage space? If he's taking vibrators, knickers and other things I hardly think he can keep them at home for the wife to potentially find, he wouldn't be able to explain personal items like those away as his own.

Why should he be panicking ?
She gets in willingly albeit drunkenly
He already has his alibi if he were to get stopped right then by the Police
He’s either told her he’ll try to help her get in the student house then if not he’ll drive her to Welly to get the keys from her friends
She’s relieved
She’s freezing
He knows he’s not doing anything wrong to her if anyone stops him
Up to that point it’s not appearing sinister[
Hell he even covers her legs to warm her up
She’s happy she thinks her problem is over

Yes! Or even people by the park could have said they saw a car matching the description of his by the park late.

Just seems a bit to casual to me: That is an impressive amount of self control if he in fact has a history of other impulsive behavior and if he was planning on doing something criminal at the time.

Xercise4Less Hull in clough road looking at pics Posted of him in gym kit and wonder if Libby also went to gym there as well? That’s why maybe she got in car as she knew him and thought could trust him. Is this also the reason why he was wearing shorts in car footage smoking, been to the gym before, , if cold that night nobody would be wearing shorts....had he been to gym that night and then would drive around afterwards? Also a good excuse, his wife thought he was at gym and could then be able to do things afterwards without anybody knowing?

Just got in so catching up as I read , someone posted earlier that really sank in with me , what ever happened that night , nobody would know she had no phone , wouldn’t get in club , would walk to bench alone , there could be no ‘planning’ for the nights events
