HI all, I am have unfortunately not been able to catch up on posts over the weekend. I am just wondering if there have been any major developments since Friday. Thank you so much. I have been following very closely and think of Libby often.

Just driven past Clough Rd police station (10 minutes ago) and there is a lot of activity with about 8 police cars, large van and dog handlers with dogs. News vans in police car park. Could be unrelated but there is a bunch of activity.
Anything come of this yet?

Interesting that this doesn't appear to be on the local paper site when they have reported everything so far.

Is their an operation in progress that they don't want us to know of yet?

Maybe they have been asked not to report.

Agreed. And I wrote a while back about how much we do (or do not know) about Polish criminal procedures. Do we know if juvenile records are sealed? Several people did an in-depth search of Polish public records with no results, but PR would have been around 18 when he left Poland. It could be that there are previous offenses that we do not know about. And the things he is now charged with are very brazen...it seems his impulses overcame his fear of getting caught - at a certain point. So, this could have escalated and led to more impulsive actions.

I agree with you 1000%.

Thanks! I was pretty sure based on the most recent posts...much appreciated

Nope. I think they've actually searched very little of the river, save perhaps for the small stretch that leads directly onto the river bank from the main path in Oak Road Park. Can't remember having seen boats and such scouring the whole run of it. Not only could the reeds snag a body floating along, they would make good cover in and of themselves. This is what concerned me walking round the other day. There are tall reeds several meters thick in parts. I took photos of some. Areas have been trodden, like tunnels leading through. Too large to have been done by foxes etc. They could provide a convenient entry point to the river, or just as a place to conceal a body within the reeds themselves.

It's daunting when you think about it. Such a difficult area to search comprehensively.

Interesting. Thanks for that. Someone said that any body in the river would quickly be carried down to the Humber Estuary and out in to the North sea. Not if it got caught in reeds though. Most of the trodden areas will be from fishermen I'd imagine.

Corrie's Mother was a police officer herself and questioned aspects of the investigation pretty much as soon he went missing. She was very proactive in organising searches, sourcing CCTV and generally bringing the case to the public's attention. She even set up phone lines for the public to phone in any information if people were hesitant in speaking directly to the police. A local landfill site was searched for months as it was believed that Corrie had somehow ended up there from being in a rubbish bin. His phone was tracked along the same route as a a bunny lorry after collection near where he was last seen.

All of this was in vain though as more than two years down the line there isn't a definitive answer. CCTV traced him to the edge of the town centre and it is a mystery what happened after that. There were many theories at the time.

What amazes me (and perhaps the main reason I followed the case) was that I was convinced he would be found. I cannot believe in this day and age of 'big brother' that CCTV does not pick us up everywhere we go. I don't know the actual statistics but it is known that we are picked up many times on these cameras going about our daily lives. Perhaps someone else on here does know the figures?

And his mother says mistakes were made. CCTV was only taken from a limited before and after period - if it had been more extensive either side it might have shown something. Also locals said they told police they had CCTV but the police didnt collect it/get back to them.

Several witnesses claim to be sure they saw him later than evening but the police quickly discounted this because they were convinced he'd gone in the waste system.

I would hope that other police forces would be more open-minded/extensive.

Regarding Libby It seems this current police force is open minded. I've been quite impressed so far and we have no idea what is going on in the background. Could deleted items be being retrieved from his laptop?

Oh God its the Corrie case all over again. But good call!

Can you tell us where these dogging sites are please?

Errm, personally? No. Not my sphere of expertise nor indeed my part of the country. Locally to me, New Forest carparks see all sorts as you could tell when I used to frequent them in the 90s to enjoy the stars and an odd naughty cigarette. I can only assume 'other activities' still go on, more so.

This Hull Mail article seems to indicate Yorkshire is dogging central (but it is also massive as Counties go so perhaps not a surprise):

Hull and East Yorkshire dogging hotspots revealed

On January 23, 2018, in Edgecumbe Street he observed another person doing a private act knowing that person did not consent to being observed for your sexual gratification ·

I can't compute how it was known he was doing this? Did someone in the midst of their private act look up and see him? Did someone see him outside peeping in? Did he film it?

Two things have occurred to me reading the charges again:
1. The first item he stole was in the run up to Christmas (play station) wouldn’t surprise me if it was new in the box. Does this suggest his initial motives for burglary was financial (steal items he knew he could flog before Christmas?) and then he got a thrill from finding more intimate objects?
2. Two of the burglaries are between dates suggesting the home owners were away for a few days and therefore PR must have kept an idea of the addresses and figures out they were away. This could suggest he does often go out and surveils houses which might have lights out etc in which case sitting in that road/ nearby roads for 20 minutes might be part of a regular routine for him?

Good point.

Hello! This is my first post here - after attempting to follow the threads as much as possible over the past couple of weeks. There are so many possible scenarios as to where Libby might be but one that has not yet been mentioned as far as I know (apologies if it has been) is that maybe she has been 'trafficked' and is already out of the country. I'm not sure whether I believe this is what happened but given her age, I thought it was definitely something to be considered. After the screams, the muttering voices, the gate/ door slamming being reported and nothing of Libby yet being found along with 'abduction' being the specific term used when PR was initially arrested, perhaps it's something to look into?

My money is on that he filmed it and police discovered this when searching his house.

Discounted as not likely.

Someone like PR that appears unable to resist his perverted ways would be an absolute liability to an organised crime group.

Yes I'd say the same.

It's very likely but then why has he pleaded 'not guilty'? What would be his defence? I can only think he would try and claim those being filmed were complicit.
Do some people deny these things out of arrogance or because they want to stick two fingers up at police?...or both.

Maybe he is saying a mate lent him the camera/ he bought the camera that the footage was found on from a private seller. No idea. I think arrogance and delusion. He seems to just think he can get away with brazen acts and in fairness it sounds like he has for quite a long time. Owning the footage would be one thing, proving he was the one who filmed it maybe another?

Maybe he's thinking while ever he denies it, his family will think he's innocent?

Or maybe it's just what his solicitor advised.

Or Yeh just plain arrogance.
