Why not just ring the police and ask which house? I see no reason why they wouldn't divulge that information, and it would be more reliable than a tabloid.

The police are not going to give out that info to random callers. GDPR, duty of care to housemates, security of property, etc etc. You ring up the police and the operator will not have the authority to divulge an address. It's different from cases such as Claudia Lawrence, because she lived alone.

Still haven't seen the parental photos and have read almost every story. When they went to the solidarity meeting at the uni weren't they meeting all LS's friends that day? I don't see how a photo of parents visiting a house trumps luminol in terms of validity. I would imagine the police wouldn't want people congregating in her room/house when there could be evidence there.

There IS a chance that #32 is LS's house, however if that is the case I'm baffled as to why the luminol on a supposed random house (that wasn't LS's) doesn't set alarm bells ringing on here or form part of any theories.

I can’t find the article now, will keep looking, but the MSN caption beneath photo stated that it was her parents visiting Libby’s house. That’s why I felt that 32 was hers.

Hull Daily Mail reporting that drains near the playing fields are being pumped out.

Be very careful with news media photo captions. Captions and headings are not written by the journalist or photographer ....they are written by sub editors. How many times do you read a news article and the caption is wrong....

Anyone local know if Sash Hair was able to provide CCTV? They are directly opposite Core Electricals and if they had a camera in the same opposing place they would have recorded what was happening at the passenger side of the car.

Actually...any locals due a hair cut? You know hairdressers love a chat ;)

This map is from Sash Hair’s business page. Note the proximity of the HSBC ATM. Would be interesting to know if it was working that night. I have definitely come home in a taxi before, got an urgent case of the munchies for a particular takeaway and walked on from my house to the local ATM

The HSBC cash machine was pulled out more than a year ago. There is no longer a HSBC there.

MailOnline reports that a man in a balaclava was also seen close to the student’s home on Wellesley Avenue.

I assume they don't mean a bank-robber style balaclava with only the eyes showing! If not, it was probably just somebody suitably dressed for the freezing cold weather ....

Are there any other ATM’s in that area?

I think NatWest directly next to Haworth is still open (it has a cash point - Cott Road). Barclays also closed.

The lake on Oak Road fields is a very popular fishing spot. I wonder if P, or his friends/acquaintances, were into fishing? We should also consider if people ever fish there at night.

I remember ready in one of the 'interviews' PRs mum gave she said he was into family life etc and did mention that he liked fishing. This has been in my head since I read it

A permit is required for the lake. The police would therefore know who was a regular fisher (providing they actually used a permit and did not try to bypass buying one by fishing at night to avoid checks).
