There is no reason why they can't announce "we are not looking for anyone else at this time".

I don't know if the blokes on here realise that females are constantly looking over their shoulders anyway. I'm quite independent and headstrong, but I have actually (sensibly I think) changed my plans and lifestyle over the last few weeks because of this - so I'm not having to walk anywhere around this area alone at night.

Yes, there is always a risk, but it seems very intensified and very real whilst all this is going on.
When I was younger and lived in a city, I never walked anywhere alone at night. There is always a risk of being mugged, assaulted or worse.

I have to say I am not local to Hull (I am in Essex) and my goto source has been Hull live on all platforms they have and I cannot fault them. They have been absolutely brilliant how they have handled the whole situation, better than nationwide media by a mile.

They’re honestly fantastic!

My heart breaks for LS parents..not knowing if she is alive is she being kept somewhere, what is happening to her or if she is dead.. they don't owe the public any press conference. .as for LE I do think they have their man but it's getting more evidence built to charge him with her disappearance...I do think if it had not been Libby that night he would do it to someone soon..I've seen people joke about what he is accused of stealing..I personally do not think it's funny breaking into someone's own private space stealing underwear or vibrators or exposing himself. I think this person is sick in the head and through time his confidence is growing. I really hope and pray that libby is found soon..or if he has done anything to her then to stop putting her parents through hell and just tell them where she is..

I agree with you totally. I'm not in hull but I have child at the University. I cannot imagine her parents hell. I think it if hadn't been this poor girl it would have been someone else very soon.

I also think the last burglary showed a growth in confidence and a degree of knowledge about the occupants that is quite alarming. To be charged requires clear evidence and to be charged with voyeurism you need to be caught. Yet even with what must be significant evidence he is brazenly pleading not guilty even tho an early guilty plea reduces his sentence.

The charges are all relatively close. What could that suggest?

<modsnip: quoted post was removed>

I don't like to see people bashing the police. They have a difficult and largely thankless job. They cannot always take the public into their confidence without potentially jeopardising the chances of bringing offenders to justice.
I understand. I just think some replies have been verging on rude. There's no need. We can discuss pleasantly.

wasn't there an incident close to the piper club? I read about it when libby first went missing but now all I can find is this on google

What was this incident please? I haven't heard about that

I may be wrong, but I don't think there has been a plea hearing yet. Isn't that what's happening next month?

Good for you. However, if I didn't go out on my own I'd never go out.

I prefer to live my life via calculated risks, a balance between having some independence and being a prisoner in my home after dark.

My issue is that in the last few weeks the risk rating has risen and it's difficult to reassess right now.

Yes I read that and have served and searched and cannot find it now.

Here you go Sammie:

The manager of a Newland Avenue nightclub has issued a warning to people in the area after a car was seen prowling the streets in the early hours of the morning.

The manager at Piper nightclub, says he was forced to issue a warning on Facebook after a suspicious car was seen "trying to pick people up" on Newland Avenue in the early hours of Sunday.

Piper boss' warning as car seen prowling around Newland Avenue

It was a blue or black VW by the way

Can I ask (I will delete if not allowed) does anyone think they are investigating murder now or still a missing person?
JMO but I'd say still missing person/abduction. Unless there's some pretty hard evidence they've not disclosed that would indicate she'd died. Looking at the public searches, I'd say they haven't. The bench alone wouldn't hold enough info to say murder.
Of course his car could show lots of blood etc. Surely then though, they'd have been able to charge him?

She really does seem to have vanished.

Not to my knowledge Quintent.

Was the cctv that showed the other silver Astra from the Welly cctv? The one that our resident expert said was different to the Haworth St cctv? The Welly is on Beverley Road not on The Avenue right!? Newland Avenue I mean.

It says in the Hull Daily Mail report that he pleaded not guilty to all the charges. Check their initial Court report. I'm not sure if that is normal for serious cases that are going being the magistrates Court.

No it was another. In a few of the MSN. Now cannot find it at all.

I read that the indecent act was in Libbys street 10 days before she went missing..I shudder at that. I think there will be minor offences he has committed and over time he's getting more and more confident and cocky tbh..I did read about him in someone's house and leaving a used condom which the lady found next day so if this is true then to do that and maybe have the person wake up it shows he has no fear in him..it's really disturbing ..another thing also if he was about to 3am on the morning of LS going missing where did his wife think he was?

This is the charge list for PR. @Cherwell - at the bottom it said he has pleaded not guilty already

Anyway. A quick look at a map tells me most of the addresses are very near each other, and very near PR's home (nowt like sh*tting on your own doorstep, as the saying goes). Is anyone familiar with this area? is it known for being a bit dodgy?

The full charges put to PR
  • Between December 7 and December 10, 2017, you entered as a trespasser to a property in Raglan Street and stole therein of a value unknown three vibrators.
  • On January 19, 2019, in a public place namely Wellesley Avenue, you committed an act outraging public decency by behaving in an indecent manner by masturbating in a public place.
  • Between December 1 and December 4, 2017, in Hull, namely Lambton Street, you entered as a trespasser and stole therein a PlayStation 4 console, a controller and £25 in cash.
  • Between January 25 and January 28, 2019, you entered as a trespasser in Ventnor Street and stole a computer laptop, a Kindle, a speaker, a quantity of sex toys, condoms, knickers and photographs.
  • On July 23, 2017, in Edgecumbe Street, you observed another person doing a private act knowing that person did not consent to being observed for your sexual gratification.
At 10.50am, he pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him.

Everything that happened when Pawel Relowicz appeared in court

Personally, jmo, I think The Sun just looked for a random silver car that night near Raglan Street. For publicity.

The timing doesn't add up with the police timeline and there are no distinguishing features. Not even sure it was an Astra.

Am completely split in two as am sure a lot are.
How can someone apparently so blasé with his bodily fluids then be so careful so no clues are left enough to charge him. I can't get my head around this.
