One thing I find puzzling is why his sister and mum went to the press.

Maybe it's a culture thing. But you'd think they've of stayed quiet.

I doubt they went to the press, I’m sure the press sought them out and they have responded for whatever reason - naivety/ being told it was their chance to defend their brother/ money (purely speculation)

Someone mentioned this before, and that if he was familiar with dogging sites to/from his place of work?

pr3.png - the 2 routes Google maps gives from Hull to Melton, they both provide plenty of opportunity for wooded areas and quiet lanes.

However, the area I have circled in red is one of the two main dogging spots in the region that is always in the news (the other being to the East of the city)

It is potentially directly on his route to/from work and known to him, and provides a good 100+ metres of obscured layby.

From the map you kindly provide there is some woodland adjacent to the layby and a larger amount over the road. Not being local but the thicker woodland over the raod looks easily accessible from Google Streetview. This site would get my attention as it is perhaps the first 'dogging' site going north from Hull he might conceivably be familiar with?

Strontium I think it’s likely as a “one man band” you’ve likely perused more of the investigated area than (from what we’ve been privy to see by the police) ... what’s your gut feeling as you’ve been cycling the area. Do you feel LS is there in that area somewhere?

Is this possibly the first attempted Abduction, possibly by the suspects? The coincidences are astonishing in the news report above, both crimes carried out in the month of February? both suspects wearing unseasonable clothing, light colored hat, shorts, trainers. Eastern European. Same area roughly same age suspects. Is this a possible long term premeditated abduction plan. Libby just being the unfortunate victim of circumstance. If these crimes are related it’s an extremely worrying connection for the area.

Way too long ago to be related to PR IMO, I'm sure you're just trying to help but let's try not to get into the habit of trying to connect any crimes in Hull/involving Eastern European people to PR.

It’s never to long, and I would never try to assume how long someone would take to build the confidence to comit such an act. I’m quite sure there was a long period of building up to such a crime. Being Eastern European is the description and nothing should be discounted.

I would think sexual predators would stick to their preferences and it's a big (unlikely?) jump from trying to abduct a toddler to a 21 year old woman.

If it was PR(which I'm still unsure of). I doubt he used another vehicle. People don't just lend people their cars, especially not in the early hours of the morning.

I also don't think he had an accomplice. It's to big a risk.

What is certainly (unlikely) is two separate incidents involving a suspect or suspects, both incidences a description of a suspect possibly wearing shorts in February. And in the same area where a potential abduction and a now missing persons investigation is taking place.

I meant that it was too long ago to be PR as he didn't even live in Hull at that time. He lived in York when that incident took place, and would have only been in his early twenties, not 30 as the description of the men by the mother stated.

how is she still missing with zero physical evidence at this point?! she seriously just disappeared off the face of the earth. wtf! every single day, every couple of hours, i check this thread and expect SOMETHING to turn up, some sign that she was even in that area, something physical: an article of clothing, a purse, HER. but nada. this is crazy.
