Are people thinking that it's PR in the Haworth Street CCTV? I'm really not sure.

Also why was this leaked to ITV? Was a police thing or as the owner leaked it?
I am almost certain that it is him.

I think curiosity will get the better of me again, and I’ll be back there in a fortnight.

Your curiosity, and much more compelling, our encouragement

Hmm, his demeanour sounds like cocky and assured? Even if innocent, I think anyone appearing in court would naturally have some degree of anxiety.
That’s exactly what I was expecting to see - some anxiety or maybe even anger - if he was innocent and had been kept for 96 hours to be questioned about something he hadn’t done. But there was just nothing. Very strange and quite disturbing.

You’re really going to make sure I attend the hearing, aren’t you?:D

Had you ever come across PR before Joelle?

The owner of the footage gave it to the police and ITV the same day I think.
The police asked ITV not to release it for a few days, it only became public once PR was arrested.
Am I right in thinking that the police have never made any public comment about the Haworth St footage?

Don't think so, think there may have been a comment that they were aware of it but nothing other than that.

I don't think they have needed to mention it because they have identified all parties shown on it.

Also they won't mention anything that may prejudice a future trial I don't think.

I think they thought it best to let people make of it what they want.

If they needed information from it they would have released it themselves wouldn't they.

I think they had a part in editing it though.

Thanks for this. It pretty much confirms our speculation about the keys. The question is though, why didn't she just get the taxi driver to take her back to Welly?
Sorry, I don't think it confirms anything. I guess she would know if keys had been found in the house, but as none of Libby's clothes or accessories have been recovered yet, nobody can say she wasn't carrying a key. But the story is all hearsay, none of it comes directly from Libby's mother.

Haha! I doubt I’ll be at the next hearing. It was so embarrassing when the security guard asked if I was family/friend or reporter and I had the tell them I was just being nosey. I could tell by his face that he thought I was a bit weird, although their was a handful of other members of the public in the courtroom.
Next time, just say you're a "member of the public". You don't need to say any more than that.
That would cover anything from an aspiring novelist researching courtroom scenes to a nosey neighbour ;)

I'm not sure why this woman has chosen to give this story.

To me it's a betrayal of trust and not hers to tell.

She would have shown more support of she hadn't gone public with it.

Well if you don't, I might! I have wanted to see some court proceedings in person for quite some time, and this case is obviously of great interest.

Can anyone just turn up (even at Crown court?) and ask to be let into a specific gallery? Is there a dress code or anything of the sort? Is there plenty of room or a good chance of being turned away?

I believe anyone can turn up, and no one was dressed up for the hearing when I went. It’s just so mortifying being asked ‘who are you here for?’ and having to reply ‘Pawel’

Yep anyone can turn up, it's open court. There's no dress code, you won't be turned away for what you wear, and I've seen some pretty tasteless get ups! No one can say about getting a seat. It depends on the capacity of the room they use and the interest in the case. I can't see there being many people at this next hearing as he doesn't have a massive amount of family, there are few victims, although I appreciate it was horrible for their victims they're not considered major offences, they are not going to be picking through details at this next hearing. There will be a greater public interest because of his link to Libby. I would expect to see a couple of reporters and a moderate amount of members of the public

Joelle and Kolumbo you could go together. Who are you here for? Him (points to Kolumbo). And who are you here for? Her (points to Joelle) I'm sure that will help you to avoid any awkward situation

LOL.

It may do for Joelle, but not for me. I have social anxiety; every situation is awkward.:D

"The first bench you came to you say? Was it to the left or the right of the path as you came to it?"

a 50% chance of getting caught in a lie...

I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't give them anything beyond the story he concocted for his sister. From what's been said about his demeanor in court I can imagine him saying nothing or just no comment. Could the bench have been identified by the dog or other witnesses?

Putting together everything I think he planned to snatch a student and planned it well enough to be fairly confident. I wonder if it's possible that he's been hanging around for a while.

Libby had come back from a student night at the Welly. She was sat on a bench near a bus stop. There were buses from the Welly to there at weekends. It's possible that both her and PR could assume there would be buses there that night as well.

If it's him in the CCTV he was sat round the corner after midnight on a freezing cold night! Why?

Libby would have been freezing cold and the streets would have been getting quieter.

He's committed crimes that involve frightening women.

The more I hear the less I buy the trying it on gone wrong scenario. The more my blood runs cold.

One thing though. He likes trophies. He's stolen sex toys and underwear and it's possible they were recovered from his house. So could he have hidden Libby somewhere to retrieve stuff. If so where?
