That's not what was reported.

It states in the reports that she rang 101 AFTER police had knocked on her door.
She spoke about it when humberside police knocked on her door then she rang 101 according to hull live

The Police were physically searching gardens of those streets for a few days in the early stages, don't know in detail which ones.
Was this after the Heathcote report though Stront or before? Ive a feeling it was more of a general search of areas around ls home?

Yeah Id like it to be a bit more solid. It does appeal to me too to some degree but theres so many things against it imo.

Id not even considered a lack of other reports of the same incident. There may well be of course but youd think a cluster of reports wouldve brought obvious notable LE activity or reports of activity in the locale

Exactly. It's hidden away so any activity wouldn't have been seen from the main roads, but with so many houses concentrated around there you'd think there'd be chatter about it.

The park has to be the spot and there HAS to be more evidence - and if it's not and there isn't then Humberside Police have lost their minds.

Why would she need to ring 101 if she spoke about it to police when they knocked?

Sure there was another report that stated police knocked, she then spoke about it after to her partner and then rang 101.

There would be no need to ring 101 if she told the police when they knocked.

Yet I agree, think that one needs to be confirmed.

If she already knew she had lost her keys and cash when she wasn't allowed in the Welly why the taxi to her home?

If she knew she had no keys surely she would have borrowed a friends that lived with her (assuming she was with with them)

We havnt had it confirmed she had no keys either at this point though so the whole point is speculation.

If I had to guess I'd say that you don't know you're without your keys till you get to the door. Taxi driver and two students confirm she did get to her door. No keys are the simplest explaination I think. It's difficult to come up with others.

There is no reason to think she'd lost cash as well. My child tells me the licensed taxis Hull are like here. If you order one you get the reg and driver's name and can track its progress. Additionally if students have no cash the driver will take their student cards as a deposit and can only retrieve them on payment. Her friends couldn't have found a safer way home.

The only explanation I can think of for going to where she was last seen is in the hope someone she knew would get off the bus from the Welly. Perhaps they'd caught that bus before? In her drunken state she might not have thought about it not running that night and having to wait for hours. Again I struggle to think of any other explanation.

Sadly if it is PR in that CCTV stalking students is the simplest explanation for him being there that I can think of

Sadly I think we'll never know the v truth.

I was responding to the poster that said she may have realised she lost her keys and had no money earlier on in the night.

My point was if she knew she had no keys when she couldn't get in the Welly then she wouldn't have headed home at all (unless she expected someone to be at home).

So yes it makes sense that she wasn't aware she had no keys until she was in the taxi at the earliest.

Of course, on the other hand, there is always the possibility that PR admits picking Libby up, has stuck with the story that she tried it on and he pushed her away, and insists she ran off towards the park. He might even have said he went after her to make sure she was ok and saw her on the bench, but then she kept running and he went eventually back to the car.

For all we know he could have rung 999 there and then and given a statement to the police which, combined with reported screams, is how they knew where to look so quickly after Libby was reported missing.

They've then had him under surveillance while they built a picture of his activity that night (and since) but STILL have no physical evidence that his story is wonky.

The other thing that worries me about it CMC is that the reportee describes the scream and voices as passing close by her house and students using the street as a cutthrough. Im assuming the main master bedroom is at front of house ,facing Heathcote ,and would be the one 95% of couples would use as their room?

Therefore shes describing an event that took place out front of her house on heathcote and not at the back in the tenfoot?

Here you are SVS

Police respond to neighbour hearing 'woman scream' night Libby vanished

It's a bit confusing to be honest how it's worded.

But I still don't see why she rang 101 if she had told the police when they knocked.

And I'm pretty sure there was a report that she spoke to her spouse before ringing 101 AFTER the police visit...or I could have read that on here (Chinese whispers)

I also recall reading that in MSM early on in the case and making a mental note to treat the report with caution.

I still think the narative, PR or accomplice took libby to the park assaulted her there more than once THEN heard again by heathcote witnesses screaming in the street before being bundled away by PR and accomplice.

“We didn’t think about it again until the police came round knocking on everybody’s doors on Saturday,” she recalled.

“We talked about it and remembered the scream and rang 101.”

Humberside Police have still not come around to take a statement after she reported the incident on Saturday evening.

Libby Squire's neighbour claims to have heard a woman’s "blood curdling" scream

I think its the 'we ' bit makes it read as we= woman and husband.

So prior to door to door they werent aware of ls incident...door to door informed them....they (wife + husb) talked about ls missing ...remembered scream rang 101?

  • #778
I remember scream posts in the MSM tabloid papers it definitely said she talked about with husband after the door police visit , she didn’t tell them at visit , it may have even been two days later she phoned it in. We discussed this a lot back in early thread as it was so strange she didn’t even mention it at time

Thanks Inspecther...

I think she meant she spoke about it to her husband after the door to door had jogged her memory?
Sounds more plausible putting it like that
