I know this has probably been asked and answered by our locals but is there any cameras on Haworth that would have captured the car leaving that street before turning onto the main road.

As in, could PR have said, yeah that’s me talking to her on the corner of beverly and Haworth, yeah that’s me on spider cam and LR getting in my car, I was giving her a lift but then she decided to get out at the end of the street.. so, they have his car leaving Haworth street but not sure if she was still in it or not? If no cameras capture the rest of the street then they can’t prove she did get out or didn’t?

Maybe why they searched a house in that street?
LE did search Haworth Street in quite a concentrated way, maybe they thought they had something to go on?

May be wrong here, but wouldn't the police have asked for the cyclist and car to come forward as witnesses if they thought the spider cctv was important?

Maybe they already identified them so didn't need to do an appeal asking?

The car would certainly be easy to identify from surrounding cctv.

The cyclist maybe not so much though.

The press referred to them as vital witnesses, but I can’t recall whether police asked for them to come forward?

“A cyclist goes past who could be a vital witness.”

“While the man smokes another car drives past the spot and the driver may also have vital information.”

Tell me they're not the the same trainers. BINGO!!

They do appear to be similar, and I'd bet they are the same, but it's not going to matter as won't stand up as evidence of any sort, as you really can't be sure.

Having a second look, the dark area at the front on the CCTV image looks more like it's a running trainer with a dark rubber sole, curled up at the toe? The ones PR is wearing in the other image don't appear to be like that at all. But maybe it's just the light.

I thought that, but I suppose if either of them had noticed Libby they might well have already responded to the initial appeals for witnesses.

Damn. Was hoping to see Clown Shoes or Stilts....

Good work alfie. Id say even if not good enough quality to stand as evidence, it shows a good arguable match

Which part are you on about them sitting sideways? Do you mean the passenger?
Sorry, it was all quite badly worded.
Whoever is sitting smoking/texting/wanking. (I think smoking or texting.)

I was just rambling my thoughts really.

I really feel they do not need the cycle and car witness in the CCTV or his type of trainers ..I feel he admitted she got in his car from the word go

 Well I should perhaps have asked "Are these common"?. As in are these possibly the choice footwear for young males at the moment? With the underlying suggestion that they are not exclusive?

Don’t know about ‘ull but young men round these parts if they go for the hi top look tend to be Nike or possibly Vans

I have thought it was PR in Haworth always the Astra, glasses now the trainers. I was looking for my own purpose. But thought i would just share for the group.

Me too. I reckon there's no dispute about it hence the police didn't mind footage being released and haven't appealed for help with it.

Or even if he didn’t admit, they’ve got clear evidence (?CCTV, DNA)

And I'm glad you did. I was asking my question for my own understanding of current popular style. :)
