Of course he may well have picked her up for warmth/safety, he may have even taken her to the park at her request to pee/puke and even told police this hence the late night SOCO visit to the bench.

Maybe he had nothing nefarious in mind? Maybe Libby wandered off or refused to get back in the car, not necessarily because she got bad vibes/he’d done something dodgy but just because she was drunk (when drink’s in, wit’s out as the saying goes). Maybe he couldn’t find her/make her get back in car and she wandered to her death?

I think the police have something to have moved from suspicion of abduction to kidnapping but what?

They may have enough to charge with kidnap now but if I were them, I would rearrest and charge when the remand period was about to expire unless a body turns up meantime

If I remember correctly, some members here do fish in that area. They have posted previously mentioning the currents..
PR may have pushed LS into the river by his usual fishing spot.

Apologies if someone has already uploaded the photo of Haworth st and the bench. Anyway, here it is. It took me 35 normal steps from there to the bench.

Perhaps an idea to blur out the reg number of that blue car? Spidercam is at those blue gates.

I didn’t think of that! Thanks

I should also point out that spidercam is small and quite difficult to spot. It would be even harder to spot at night. I was going to take a picture of it, but I bottled it.

Blimey. Thats scary. I haven't ever clicked on the maps etc as they seem too complicated for me (embarrassed emoji) but seeing that makes it really clear to me where it was and why people was saying its a dead end etc. It seems like he's spotted her, then parked there, had a think and a cig, then brought her to his car. What happens next is a mystery. I'm guessing they have cctv of him driving to the park with her. He probably leaves an hour or so later but with no forensic evidence he could say that they was just chatting etc. Or she went in the woods to wee and he never saw her again. I really hope that they find her. I wish the police would do more searching. Msm seems uninterested in this case for the most part and it such a shame. A young woman is 2019 has vanished in heavily populated area. This is a massive cause for concern and should be reported on more

It’s so eerie seeing how close he was. Literally just around the corner from her. Seconds away. I noticed that the EuroMarket shop across the road has a camera that is facing the direction of the bench.

He would have been super foolish to not admit it if they have evidence wouldn't he.

It would prove straight away he was lying.

His best bet was to say she was there and he dropped her off safe.

The press went to his sister and mother after his arrest. The first is from the Telegraph the second Daily Mail. Neither are renowned for honesty or morals but I guess the quote marks can suggest these were direct quotes. Both were dated 7th Feb.

Sister Paulina says he told her he'd stopped because he'd driven past a girl crying and they're a good family brought up to help. She then goes on to say "she asked him to take her home so he put her address into his sat nav and wanted to do just that. Apparently she threw herself at him, but he pushed her away because he is a married man"

Mum says "Paulina (sister) told me he was arriving home and saw a girl crying. Paulina had told me he had gave her a lift as she wanted to go home"

Mum had NOT spokento him since Libby was reported missing so we can assume sometime between Libby going missing and the papers getting his name he gave a story to his sister.

Both accounts cover any DNA in his car. The sisters add on is odd tho. My guess is that it could be there to account for any scratches or blood?

By all accounts Libby was very drunk and couldn't have got very far alone after leaving his car. By PRs on account to his sister she was also distressed and wanted to go home. That much I believe.

I don't believe she would 'throw herself at him". Not in those distressed circumstances. She'd have been scared and cold. We one she didn't get home. And we now know he isn't concerned enough about being a married man not to go flashing so my opinion is he probably wouldn't be pushing away anyone.

So I think you're right he will have enough knowledge if DNA to admit she was in or near his car. Possibly not enough knowledge of the extent of CCTV.

I don't think he knew it was there. He'd have been more cautious I suspect

3 general queries from recent posts and reports:
The idea that 'the girl' "threw herself at him" when PR 'wanted to give her a lift home' would cover him (in case he had been seen) for having her in a tight/close hold, if he did say this to his sister, then he thinks he might have been seen, where?

I wonder if there are any wide-bore covered/buried
culverts or drains running across the park and into the river, sometimes only visible at lower tides, and having inspection hatches in the park which could be anywhere and overgrown.

What is under that disturbed soil, with the bits of purple and red scatterings under the chunk of wood, by the Croda fence, that Strontium showed us in his last video, has no sleuth dug it up to look yet?
If it were a buried animal I think the foxes would have investigated by now.

The IR LEDs tend to glow on those things at night, if the rest of the area it's in is really dark it would stand out.

Do we know if the flasher flashed exclusively at young women? or wasn't he fussy about who he flashed at. I get the feeling it was only young women, but I'm possibly just basing that on the one report where the artist friend provided the cops with an efit?

Wellesley road, where Libby lived, is in student land and is another site he's been caught with his pants down. Again lots of young women. On a Saturday. I'd love to knew what time and whether it tied in with buses that stopped near that bench
