Ah in that case I'm wrong, I just saw two silver hatchbacks on Newlands :)
What I am finding disturbing is the amount of MSM reports that were available and now not. Am going to start screenshotting as we cannot talk about what isn't there. :)There was far more available than there now is.

Any idea why this is?

What's missing, Mollie?

a lady who is a resident of raglan street who spoke to LE said when she asked what was going on today - they were looking for an article of clothing/footwear -hulllive.co.uk
Apologies for not being able to link properly !
Was this an interview done by Hull Daily Mail? I have looked everywhere and cannot find what you have mentioned.

If it's no longer accessible to us I can't say as it's classed as rumour?

Someone might be able to find another link if it's already been MSM

An entire day of MSM coverage was deleted from the HDM's SM pages recently.

Is that because of comments do you think (though I'd thought just removing comments would clear that) or because it might prejudice a trial?

You'd imagine so. Also, it's the only local newspaper. Maintaining a good relationship with LE and their press team is vital to actually being able to publish.

Possibly both, but I think their main issue is the comments. They seemingly can’t turn off comments for one story alone. And comments is what probably draws people to reading the stories on their page in the first place. They certainly opt for click-bait style headlines. I’ve seen people before on there saying ‘switch off comments’ and Hull Live respond directly to say ‘it’s not possible’. They then seem to spend an age trying to delete individual comments, after which the entire post and article is often removed.

They seemingly repeat this pattern over and over, so I can only think they’re anticipating those comments but are happy for clicks and then seen to be doing their job from a legal perspective by removing the whole thing.

Beverley Life however gets much less interaction and comment but I’ve never seen them delete anything! They leave all comments and articles up.
