I'm wondering what is the area covered by a 'phone ping'? There are many spots if you look near St Andrews Quay where someone could park and drop things straight into the water.
I'm wondering if there are any red light areas around there with which an alleged pervy peeper might be familiar? ...apparently, Hessle road, opposite St Andrews Quay is a red light area.

Hessle Road is Hull's red light district - nearby, for sure.

Hessle Foreshore, underneath the Humber Bridge, is known for dogging. People certainly do pull up there just to watch, as well as participate.

True. I'd like to think most cadavers are well trained and pretty reliable though.

If a person died and was immediately put in a car drove for a short distance it's easily possible a dog would not detect anything

Weren't there houses on Haworth Street searched by the police? I'm wondering now if PR was receiving his stolen goods from someone in a house on that street. If it's him in the spidercam footage it might explain why he was parked there in the first place.
