Interesting as we dropped off my son today (lives just on the over the road from PRs house) that now they have put metal over the front windows. That house is shut off now like a fortress.

The police think he killed her in the park? Where have you seen this, can you provide evidence?
He didn't say that. It's just conjecture, like the rest of the post.

Gets more like Preston Road every day ;)

Thanks for that, good spot. Looks a bit freaky, there must be something inside for them to do that? Unless they don't want public breaking in and ruining any evidence.

Thanks for that update. It must have happened today.

Glad to hear they've made it secure. That house contains a family's belongings, and everybody will know it's unoccupied.

Now that would be ironic...

Thanks for sharing this pic Scooter. Wow they really have boarded that up haven’t they!

I did wonder ... when they put the door panel on I know some people suggested it was because they’d used force to get in. I found that a bit odd as they’d have police front and back, surely PR wouldn’t be hiding in his own home refusing to answer the door.

Now that there are these shutter panels over the windows I’m assuming to keep people out of there?

I have to ask ... had your son seen PR around prior to his arrest? Does he know if he lived there until recently with his wife and kids?

I almost hope he is guilty so he ‘deserves’ the vitriol he’s receiving.
I imagine their house will be a prime target.

Well, that wouldn't cheer me up.

Nope. There was a similar article about Nadine Fudge, former Mayor of Hull, wishing the S family well - her own son disappeared without trace in Liverpool in 1995.

Thanks for that Cherwell, I obviously read it wrong and thought I had missed an update!

Certainly from memory before the front door was closed off I never saw or noticed it damaged. I’ll get closer photos tomorrow morning when I collect my son. PR it seems is familiar to my son and his flat mates but only as another person on the street. Quiet coming and going. The whole family he said was quiet and not one you would notice particularly. Can I just say here and if it’s not allowed please delete. my sons flat residents would say they believe wife and children not around at the time of PRs arrest. In fact they could say they were not around or visible for a week or so before. They say that from memory rather than stating actual fact though.
Other than that just the letter from police with nothing more to add really...
Again if this is not allowed then please delete with my apologies.

I came into this a few threads in so may have missed this being discussed but

Going back a little bit to the initial park searches. Does anyone know what prompted the forensics on the bench in the park or if only that one bench was checked?

I'mnot convinced LS was ever in the park. The rest of the searches to mee seemed to only be looking for something discarded (eg clothes or weapon) and not a body.

Maybe the Haworth car was seen on CCTV (Or witness) back at Oak Road later that night (disposing of evidence), hence the asking the 4 people to come forward.

Nothing stated officially in MSM, understandably.

The bench forensics happened out of the blue late one evening whilst PR was being held for questioning. There had already been some police activity at the park but it was noted that it was late and unusual and seemed very specific to that bench. They can’t have been there for more than half an hour before packing up. Hull Live reported on it live if I remember rightly.

Thanks. Thought I'd missed something with people discussing the forensics on the bench in the park (rather than benches). I've never been to the park but assume there's more than one.

Thanks. It does seem very speific as though they have had some information then rather than a random check.
