I wonder how many times he was caught in the act, ie the victims saw his face sufficiently to identify him. It seems like a fair few of his alleged crimes happened while houses were unoccupied.

PR's neighour was quoted as him having a dog.

I am quite surprised that he hasn’t requested a suit, sounds like he has given up to me.

More like he's accepting his circumstances , told his family to lie low , and wait it out. It's not gonna be an easy time for him but essentially if there's no more revelations he's a free man in the near future , back to Poland to make a new start.

i still can't wrap my mind around how perfectly capable this guy would have to have been in getting rid of a body, now that it's been well over a month, and he's been sitting in a cell. i'm just not fully convinced he's the one, or the only one anyway. It's been strongly suggested that this didn't actually happen. Police found no evidence of it taking place, and the woman withdrew her report shortly after.

It's been suggested locally that the woman involved has form for fabricating stories.

Unfortunately, the meta tags used by several MSM outlets online mean that this story got pooled with coverage of LS. More overtly, several papers liberally splashed her pictures all over this story, clearly in an effort to increase clicks and foam up a frenzy.

There's been a few incidents in the Newland area of late, generally involving men leering at young women. Together with the ongoing LS case, it's obvious that people are increasingly afraid - the student population in particular.

Then 3 separate, competing papers print the same odd account from PRs sister admitting he came across a crying girl and wanted to give her a lift home. Virtually word for word, minus any sensationalism and with bizarre extraneous details (like putting her address in his sat nav). That increases yet again the probability.

The speed and competitiveness of online news provision now means that any 'exclusive' story is likely to be copied in a matter of minutes (or less). The Daily Mail in particular are well known for just lifting stories from anywhere they can find them, very often without any kind of credit.

Obviously it's second hand at best. Still an unusual thing to say even third hand. Nobody would come up with and then misrepresent the wanting a lift home bit. Unless they were told that. And nobody would tell them that unless they feared there was other the evidence. Why would they?

If it was me I'd be shouting to every relative that I'd never seen any crying girls, certainly not been near enough to knew they wanted to go home

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. PR has clearly told somebody close to him that he did pick up a girl that night. There doesn't seem to be any doubt about that. Presumably he has also told the police that much.
