Its seems as Hull Live have not forgotten and continue to prod the police for an update periodically

I just cant imagine what tests they can be waiting for after all this time

I notice it said that further tests "have been carried out" not that they are still waiting for results

The only thing I can think of is they need something from the completion of his upcoming trials

Even without all that, a relatively new relationship, 2 young children and bring in a foreign country with your husband in jail surely would be a tipping point for many relationships.
I wonder if she’s visited him.

If it was my partner I think I would. Just to have that chance to look them in the eye and confront them.

That said, did she leave the country right away? Possibly. In which case you might fly out of here and never look back.

i don’t think she left the country but I don’t think under WS code I can say why I think that.

Can we believe its August already? Less than 2 weeks until his trial begins. Its seemed so far away back then.

He's probably been in prison longer than any sentence they might give him. Hopefully they will charge him with a more serious crime before he gets out. Moo

“Police have viewed the last CCTV images of Libby on Beverley Road which have not been released due to the poor quality.”

Do you think this is true or shows more than they want to put out there?

If he gets released after his trial for time served (if found guilty) do you think he’ll be arrested on exit of court?
The interview/custody time from initial arrest I assume is still ‘out’
If g
They arrested him on a different charge, murder/manslaughter, does the clock reset as it’s a new charge or is that it?

When to Haworth Arms yesterday for food and beer before seeing Johnny Marr at Welly.

The bench still looks beautiful.

I must of been down there 3 or 4 times since Lbby's disappearance. But seeing 'spider' cam gates and the bench still freaks me out.

I still think of Libby and her family daily.

Two points, i believe from someone more knowledgable than myself it was said the clock could not be reset in those circs, as although the charge would differ, it still relates to the same crime/event.

Secondly, i queried this early on about extra cctv, due to the very thorough nature and speed of the searches on Haworth st.

What confuses me though is IF the police have that footage it would surely sure the circumstances in which she left with PR. The abduction arrest says it wasnt consentual, the lack of further charges would indicate maybe it was? I just dont get it.

Even if she got into the car willingly, I think it could be classed as abduction if she wasn't allowed to get out when she wanted to, or taken to a place she didn't want to go.
Lack of charges is probably due to lack of proof.

I wonder if the last CCTV images refered to are from a bus ? Hence not giving much information on movements?

<modsnip: Sleuthing social media of non victim or non POI/suspect is not allowed>

Still think of Libby and her family all the time. My heart breaks for her parents who still can't lay their daughter to rest.

It's awful. Doubt they'll be able to see her either after all this time. Must be 16 or 17 weeks now.

Am I right in the thinking it's PR's court date on Monday? The 12th?

  • #175
I am sure it is the 12th as I looked it up earlier today.

  • #176
I thought the 12th too.

Welcome back everyone. Been checking in daily. It’s almost time. Justice for beautiful Libby please.

I thought the 12th. Can't imagine how her family are going to feel hearing the full details of PRs charges and wondering what the hell he might have done to their beautiful girl. Let's hope it leads to something for them as well.
