Just amazed at the sentencing to be heard today. Why now?Why not before?

So how long will he get for those charges, and has he already served enough time while in custody to walk free?

Is it possible that he could be re-arrested in relation to LS immediately after this?

God this guy boils my blood so much

Judges don't like it when the defendant decides to plead guilty at the last minute. He might add a bit of time to his sentence for that.

So this trial is supposed to last 10 days to 2 weeks per my notes. Now what? Since he admitted to 9 charges & pros are dropping the others. Just sentencing. I guess I should wait & see what happens here, eh? :)

Oh dear, HDM appear to have taken their eye off the ball with the live coverage there.

I reckon he's admitted the non-sexual content burglaries. It looks like he hasn't admitted to the stolen phone either.

  • #249
Been adjourned until 2:45

It's been a waste of money arranging 2 weeks for trial I agree it probably won't be seen as a positive. Hopefully this may bring other matters to a head instead of the two week wait. Please dont let him walk free or a suspended sentencing verdict.

If he has denied the Wellesley Avenue charge and they prosecution are willing to accept that it might put a big spanner in the works for my theory. Waiting info anxiously <3

I read somewhere that its poddible to revert a crown court into a magistrate's court briefly during or after a trial to make a further charge unrelated. Something like that Can't swear that it's true

It was stated in relation to the teacher schoolgirl abduction trial i(n the girls mothers later book. She was at the trial daily
It would would be something to have another charge made today if there is a charge to be made

It's the incident in Malvern Avenue that he's denying.

Often the Defendant will wait and see the weight of evidence against them, and such things as whether witnesses will turn up. No doubt they would here. Surprised sentencing isn’t adjourned for psychiatric reports - maybe they have those already. Yes Vermont, I hope they charge him with Libby’s murder straight away - I can’t believe they would be so reckless as to let him out in streets again/disappear to Poland.

Just seen that Wellesley Av IS one of the charges admitted guilty by him. Thank god for that. Fingers crossed for some news now that he isn't simply going to be released on 'time served' because I'm sure I can speak for us locals when i say we certainly don't want him back here in Hull.
