Are these sentencing cases held in open court? Maybe there's a hold up if Hull CID are trying to keep him if they know he is going to be let free on the other charges?

Definitely a media blackout. There is even a warning on the Court Listings page that warns - in red letters - there might be reporting restrictions on cases being heard today. I can't say I've noticed that warning when checking the same site for previous cases.

Edited to add. This is obviously just my opinion. I have just checked other locations court listings and the same warning was there. Maybe I just didn't notice previously because I wasn't looking. If you know what i mean haha.

Yeah i just checked an noticed the same for other court locations. I've adjusted my post accordingly. Think I probably didn't notice it before because wasn't particularly looking for it. I do still believe there is a media blackout right now tho. Can't see why no local reports from there at the least.
