Okay - a few thoughts. There are definitely still threads left hanging. In no particular order:
* LR's phone: found in a very bizarre location. It was lodged half under various detritus in the alleyway. Any explanations? How soon was it found?
* Who reported LR missing? How soon?
* Absence of evidence that Halliwell was involved is not evidence of his NOT being involved, IMO.
* GR - there is a ring of authenticity about some of his assertions, IMO (changed his clothes, forgot to give both sets of clothes, he paced around on the grass to clean his shoes etc). The blood is very worrying. It's also frustrating that the hooverings from the car can't be tested.
* The car: where is it now? Is it not still in evidence?
* polygraph: not sure what to think about this. I kind of agree with GR about how they can't be reliable. We have a scepticism about their use in the UK I think, much more than in other legal systems.

Just rewatched the Conviction programme so been going over the case details again and I think this is very telling...

"On Friday 15 March 2002 Linda, who by now worked as a student support assistant at Swindon College, went to court and got an order freezing all of Glyn’s finances. Glyn couldn’t contact his solicitor over the weekend but on Monday morning he was advised to be ready to get back into court at a moment’s notice. So Glyn had to pull out of a day trip to France planned for the following day; a few friends were going to stock up on wine and cheese. As Glyn’s people-carrier was the most spacious of their vehicles, he agreed to exchange cars just for 24 hours. That day, Tuesday 19 March, Linda dropped off the children at school and then went missing." The case of Glyn Razzell - insidetime & insideinformation

I think by the time Tuesday came around he was so angry that it led to him killing her. AMO.
