Does "traveller" mean "homeless"?

Glad LE has something on CCTV!

I can see wheeling trash and recycling bins from one's home to curbside, where they will be emptied by the city's refuse trucks. Actually wheeling one of these down a side walk, without an apparent care in the world, seems odd to me.

No, 'traveller' doesn't equate to homeless.

People known as part of 'traveller' communities may live sedentary lives in brick and mortar houses, or they may live in more mobile communities, living in a caravan and maybe moving to a new town now and then.

Any chance that blue bin has a number on it?

In our community, property owners have to purchase the bins from the city and all bins have a number imprinted on them that identifies an address it belongs to.

Not sure, but it might have the house number on it.

I'm in the states, but it's the same way here. Bins are numbered and linked to a specific address.

Shocked and devastated at the new footage. So glad a lead has been found and well done to the police but it’s turned my stomach. The boldness and the indignity of it. Could this be purely unrelated and just some random going’s on ? RIP Lindsay ❤️

Surely he knows theres cctv as Lindsay’s footage was widely shared

So he’s that stupid??

Surely it’s unrelated and not suspicious....nobody could be that stupid, surely!?!?

Oh Jim good work on that, and that’s making it again this just one of the most disturbing acts I’ve seen if it turns out how it looks

No I don’t live too far away from Accrington and you get given a bin by the council and there are no numbers on them. Some people add their own number to try and make sure they keep the same bin when everyone pulls them out to be collected. Sadly bins get stolen all the time around here and if you need another one you have to pay for it so they can be quite a contentious issue.

Sadly yes, many people are that stupid.

If the bin is not related to Lindsay, why would the young man abandon it in a cemetery? That is so odd.

So many questions. Why oh why

I keep thinking this, it's a very brazen/dumb move to be wheeling a body along in a bin in broad daylight when everyone was out looking for Lindsay.

Could be totally unconnected, doubt It though but seems really stupid behaviour if your trying to be discreet

ID should be pretty straightforward. Suspect was not wearing gloves in the LE video so his prints should be all over that bin. How does he explain that bin being located near to a dead body?

Not if he’s never been fingerprinted.

Praying they’ll have brought that guy in by the morning

It depends on how your local town has it set up. I’m about 5 miles out of Pittsburgh city limits and our bins have no ID numbers on them.

Lindsay disappeared on the 12th. The video with the blue bin is on 17th. Was Lindsay alive for 5 days?

And then not found until the 24th. Was she in the cemetery for 7 days?
