Surely they would be able to tell ‘if’ Logans body had been put in the bag or not, by the forensic testing of the bag? Maybe it is because it was only evidenced late into the trial??

I doubt they put Logan in this bag.
As I wrote earlier, JC "invented" it to protect the teen.
If it was closed, the youth wouldn't know about the body.

I’m sure I read somewhere that Logan had no injuries consistent with CPR.

Yes, that evidence came from one of the paramedics or similar who eventually attended, I think -so that should be picked out by the prosecution in the summing up to nail this lie, even though she doesn't seem to have mentioned it to JC this morning.

EDIT
This refers to it but I thought there was evidence in court - will look.

'It was put to Cole in interview that Logan had no injuries to his ribcage consistent with emergency resuscitation, but he insisted he had done so.'

EDIT I had forgotten that the evidence on 22 February included the fact that the police officers who found Logan's body actually performed CPR unsuccessfully.

"Defendant John Cole, who is being cross-examined by prosecutor Caroline Rees QC, was asked about the Nike bag in further detail. In a document provided to the court by Cole’s legal team he said Angharad Williamson had passed him the bag."

"The defendant was asked why he didn’t mention putting Logan in the bag in his police interviews."

"A witness statement is read out by crime scene investigator Jenna Watts.

At 9.45am on March 2 this year she attended Maesglas where she recovered a black Nike holdall and a silver dog tag which was personalised."

By the sounds of it he only mentioned the bag after trial started.

So if he is lying about the bag, to protect the youth, at the same time he is implicating AW by saying she gave him the bag?

Im confused and not sure where the truth lies with regards to the bag.
He is implicating her all the time, by saying he and the teen didn't touch Logan, and talking about a "freak incident".

Oh, and don't forget about her saying to him that she wanted to kill herself and take Logan with her - it is somewhere in the reports.
Why to even say this?

It seems the famous "love story" ended abruptly.

i think that's why she keeps shouting. Maybe they all agreed they'd cover for each other now it's obvious he's decided to cover for the Youth instead of her

Wow..this case is a head wreck..so much conflicting lies & deception by all three of them..JC has been lying through his teeth on the stand but now I don’t feel the youth solely killed Logan..JC was 100% involved with inflicting injuries & in that stand JC is trying his hardest not to implicate the youth but he already has as they both have conflicting statements..I think AW was awake but in the bedroom with her earphones in watching the videos..so she wouldn’t of heard anything going on..but when Logan finally took his last breath she was told by a panicked JC & then she went into panic mode looking out the curtains etc sorting the room..she must of known because it was only her in the house when JC & the youth went to the river..she can’t get out of that one & her evidence will be interesting to say the least..

Also when there’s 2 or more people for a crime like murder..they shouldn’t all be able to see each other’s statements..just lock them up on remand till the trial..make them take the stand if pleading not guilty & then hear what each has to say on the day!AW mind right now..lol..bet it’s well in overdrive..also does anyone know where the youth was on the night..I know in his statement he said he was asleep but where in Logan’s room,in the front room..Was JC playing his games that night high on cannabis..Logan up annoying him..the youth been told to go & sort Logan as he’s in the middle of the game & the youths gone too far whilst AW is in her pit watching her dodgy YouTube videos with earphones in?..so many questions..I’m too invested..✌️

JC's stock answer to any important question:
"my head was all over the place"
"I can't remember"
He's very shrewd and seems to know how to play the game. Pity he's not man enough to own up to punching Logan in the stomach multiple times. I believe 100% that he and the youth did what they're accused of. If he gets a lesser sentence it will be a travesty.
