Lorraine has been missing over 10 days and last seen in the early hours of Exeter town centre.

The news that has come out this morning is that police are now treating this as a murder inquiry. It is not good for Lorraine, looks like police have cordoned an area in Exeter to search.

"The 32-year-old's last known location was near the Beacon Heath Estate, just over two miles from where the police cordons were set up.

DCI Nattrass added: "Extensive searches by specialist officers are currently taking place in and around Mary Arches Street in Exeter city centre.

"A cordon remains in place and the public are likely to see police activity ongoing in the area for the next few days.

"We would like to hear from anyone who believes they had seen or heard from Lorraine since 1 September as a matter of urgency.

"If you have any information that can assist us with our investigation, please contact the police on 999, quoting log 285 for 9 September."

I know we haven't much information to go on as yet, but it strikes me as odd that 4 men have been arrested on suspicion of murder of 1 female?
Does this imply LE thinks one person may be involved but don't know who out of the 4? (If you see what I mean).

Such a sad outcome, very strange the amount of people arrested but I hope there's some justice for her family

With so many arrests I had hoped they would have found Lorraine by now.

Oh, I didn't realize they hadn't found her? I thought the police were just trying to say a minimum amount.

Yeah, they've not reported finding her body or anything just that there was a significant discovery that changed this from a missing person to a murder investigation

Christopher Meyer of Kurdish origin? Needs an interpreter? Maybe he anglicised
his name.
