Yes , police are still searching in two areas of the Leigh Park estate including the warren

The man and woman, both 29, have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and remain in custody, the force added.

Chief Inspector Alex Reading appealed to the public for help and said it was "still very much a missing person investigation".

He added: "I know the public would expect us to explore all lines of enquiries in order to find Louise and as such we must move forward with an open mind as to where she might be."

Police have been going door-to-door, conducting searches and scanning CCTV in their efforts to locate her and further searches will be carried out in the Leigh Park area over the weekend, Mr Reading said.

Leigh Park is a large housing estate just north of Havant about 9 miles from Portsmouth. It's a very close knit community where most people know each other or of each other.
To the north of Leigh Park there is a smaller part of the estate called The Warren which backs on to Havant thicket this is the area the police are searching plus an area a few minutes walk from me near a local school, a small copse .

A local. Awesome. Thanks for the inside info. Excuse me, but what is this copse you speak of? Did this couple do something to her, release her, or could she have escaped??Hopefully, more details will be released soon.

A copse is a small wooded area in the middle of an estate . A lot of gardens back on to it, it's these gardens that have also been searched.

This is very worrying. Glad a local has joined us. I think (please correct me if wrong) that Leigh Park has a 'reputation' as being quite a 'rough' area? Sorry if that came across insensitively or if I'm wrong. Just something from the back of my memory. JMO.

The estate was built after the 2nd world war to mainly house Portsmouth residents bombed out of their houses. Most of the properties were owned by Portsmouth city council originally but a lot are now privately owned.
I feel safe walking around at night at least I would if we were not in the middle of a pandemic
We don't have gun or knife crime , most people take pride in their homes.

Same here as Becky Watts did flash through my mind when I found out this is a kidnap.
Im so hoping it was not two people with twisted fantasys who had taken Louise.

After Chelsie Dack sadly ended up deceased, Im praying even more for Louise safe return.

I also thought of Becky. Hopefully this is a very different case and outcome. Quite of a lot of our family is nearby and this case has had plenty of attention locally (we are presently stuck across the ocean).

Not looking good ,police have been guarding the house of the arrested couple all night .
Staunton Country Park is being searched by Search and rescue teams today.
Not sure if this is allowed but if you go to Waterlooville police facebook page they have put a post up asking people to stay away from Staunton Park as they will be searching there today.
Although we are in lockdown the park is really popular with locals .

Staunton Country Park is the heart of Leigh Park with a huge lake at the centre. It stretches from Leigh Park to The Warren on the West side, Havant Thicket at the top and Rowlands Castle to the east.
I really, really hope and pray this has a better ending then what I think it will have.
