'A HUGE police search is underway at a house in Edinburgh.
A black police tent has been erected at the front of the home in Broomhall Terrace in the city's Corstorphine area.'

Edinburgh residential street locked down by cops amid ongoing incident

Multiple police vehicles are currently blocking the road.

''Cars can be seen parked all the way up the avenue with one preventing traffic from entering the street.
One passerby said: "I came around the corner and there was a marked police car blocking the road and officers stood nearby. It looked like there was a tent in the front garden of one of the homes. It wasn't immediately clear what had happened but I just hope everyone is ok."

Edinburgh street remains locked down as police erect 'black tent' outside home

A major police presence swooped on the city's Broomhall Terrace on Thursday morning as several force vans and cars could be seen parked on the street with a cordon erected at both ends

Police confirmed they executed a search warrant in connection with an ongoing investigation.

An eyewitness at the scene also told how officers were seen carrying 'large brown envelopes' from the home.
