A man has been killed in Newham after being stabbed to death.

The victim, believed to be 29, was found injured following reports of a fight in Silvertown.

One man has been arrested after police were called to the scene in Hanameel Street shortly after 2am, where the victim was pronounced dead.

UPDATED: Police investigating fatal stabbing in Newham

A 23-year-old man [A] was arrested in connection with the incident. He was subsequently released without further action.
