Man arrested for murder after body found in car outside hospital


A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a middle-aged man was found in a car outside a hospital.

Police were called to Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, on Friday evening where the man, 56, was tragically found dead.

Police confirmed today that a 43-year-old from Tamworth was arrested in Birmingham on suspicion of murder.

A man allegedly threw car keys at medics and said "there's a body in the back." A source told The Sun:"This has created a huge amount of shock. The staff are very upset. He just threw the keys at a member of staff, dropped the news and then left the hospital site.”

It is believed medics had been approached by a man who then threw keys at them before telling them that a man was dead "in the back" of the car.

He told them it was his brother, according to sources.

NHS workers called 999 and the body of the 56-year-old was found in the vehicle - which was parked near the entrance to A&E.
