Little bit more about the terrorist :

"It is understood Al-Shamie, 35, grew up on Delaunays Road in Crumpsall, with his two brothers and parents"

"A YouTube account linked to his father hosts a series of home videos from the boys' north Manchester upbringing.

One shows a nativity at Crumpsall Lane Primary School, while another shows a visitor to the family's then-home on Delaunays Road in 1995."
'Synagogue terror attacker's dad worked at North Manchester General' - neighbour

And his marriage:

Manchester synagogue terrorist Jihad Al-Shamie ‘married’ to NHS nurse who converted to Islam

Elizabeth Davis, 35, is said to have told her family about him only after the synagogue attack.

Manchester synagogue terrorist Jihad Al-Shamie secretly ‘married’ a NHS nurse who converted to Islam, according to reports. Elizabeth Davis, 35, is said to have told her family about him only after the synagogue attack.

Al-Shamie’s first marriage reportedly fell apart six months ago, with mum-of-five Elizabeth, of Bolton, reportedly married to him now. A source told the Sun: "Liz converted to Islam four years ago"

That's odd, to not tell family about a marriage.

Hope she is not involved and is okay.

Confusing, as the DT has a story about a white Muslim convert widow being arrested'...... 'Police arrested a 43-year-old man, a 46-year-old woman and an 18-year-old girl at the address in Bolton' - saying that is understood the woman, who works in the healthcare sector.

The age doesn't match 'Elizabeth Davis, 35' so could be someone else or DT has made an error.

There is ofcourse more to "this family"... then a shocked statement about
"shocked about what happened" instead of "what my son jihad" did.

His son carried out an terror attack, on soil where a lot of people want to live in safety and shelter.

The morning after this cowardly terror act of his son, I saw a lot of his Fb posting and I do really think, he knew, what his son was going to do.

There was one post, that looked like a threat to Israel, posted a few days before the terror attack.
MOO

Father of Manchester terrorist called for Israel's destruction: 'Israel - a sworn enemy', 'Hamas - people of God'

Naturalized British citizen Dr. Faraj al-Shami often posted on social media his support for Hamas and terrorist organizations, celebrated the Oct. 7 massacre and praised the terrorists: 'What they did - a miracle by all standards'; But he condemned the murderous attack carried out by his son on Yom Kippur: 'Shocked by what happened'

Even if he didn't know, not a great role model of a Father IMO.

Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is leading the police operation and has been granted warrants allowing them to detain four people who were arrested on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts for a further five days.

The warrants relate to two men, aged 30 and 32, and two women, aged 46 and 61.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the investigation was "continuing at pace" with "significant resources" mobilised in order to "establish the full picture into what has happened".

The force said three men remain in hospital with serious injuries, including a security guard with car-impact injuries and a Community Security Trust (CST) worker with stab wounds.

Neighbours of the Manchester synagogue attacker reported concerns to police about him and a family member being “radicalised” and attempting to “preach” the Qur’an to local children, the Guardian has been told.

A security guard who helped barricade the doors during the Manchester synagogue attack has told Sky News he thought "we are all going to die" - after he saw two of his friends hit by what's believed to be a police bullet. Ivor Rosenberg was a working volunteer security guard on the morning Jihad al Shamie, 35, launched his attack on the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Crumpsall.

The funeral procession for Adrian Daulby, who was accidentally shot by police responding to an attack at a synagogue in Manchester last week, stopped outside the synagogue on Monday (October 6). In Thursday's (October 2) attack two men, Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, were killed after a British man of Syrian descent drove a car into pedestrians and then began stabbing people outside Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue during Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. The attacker, who was not carrying a firearm, was shot dead by officers at the scene. Monday's funeral for Daulby was held at the Agecroft Jewish Cemetery in Salford near Manchester, according to local media.
