Police are concerned for the welfare of 71-year-old Margaret Bannister, who is missing from her home address in Bolton-le-Sands.

She was last seen in the area around 9am on Tuesday morning, Oct 5.

Margaret is described as 5' 3", with short grey hair and of a small build. When last seen she was wearing a thick, dark brown jacket, blue jeans, black wellies, and carrying a black leather shoulder bag.

POLICE are becoming 'increasingly concerned' for a missing woman.

Officers are looking for 71-year-old Margaret Bannister, who is missing from her home in Bolton Le Sands.

She was last seen in the Bolton Le Sands area at around 9am on Monday.

She is described as 5ft3in tall, with short grey hair and of a small build.

When she was last seen, she was wearing a thick, dark brown jacket, blue jeans, black wellies and is carrying a black, leather shoulder bag.

A police spokesman said: "We are now concerned for Margaret's welfare and are appealing for your help to find her.

"If you have seen her or have any information, please call us on 101 quoting log 1087 of the 05/10/21."
