Omg this blind violent hatred against innocent victims must end.

My prayers are with all involved including the families of the victims, and those in the UK.

Will they say once again this particular terrorist was known to UK LE? Sigh. I wouldn't be surprised.

Three injured after mass stabbing in south London: attacker dead
''Stephen Roberts, a former deputy commissioner for the Metropolitan Police, said authorities would try to quickly search the suspect's residence and seize any computer devices to scour his internet records. Investigators will be researching the man's background to learn more about the attack and any possible co-conspirators, he said.

Roberts said if the facts show the stabbings were carried out by a “self-starter,” it meant that any city in the country was vulnerable at any time to a similar sort of low-tech attack.

Bell Reberio-Addy, a member of Parliament who represents Streatham, said police have assured her it was an “isolated incident.”

Prime Minister Boris Johnson praised police and emergency workers. London Mayor Sadiq Khan urged community resolve in the face of another attack.

“Terrorists seek to divide us and to destroy our way of life,” he said. “Here in London we will never let them succeed.”

This article confirms your fears. Again! How many times are they already known and supposedly being watched.

Interesting that the perpetrator was recently in prison, as there has been quite a bit of evidence that incarceration is actually a place where people become more radicalized.

How British prisons became a breeding ground for Islamist extremism

I believe this I also think these individuals are very difficult if not impossible to rehabilitate. It is a miracle no innocent victims died today. Hopefully the new terrorist measures being announced tomorrow will help.

This guy should have gone straight from prison to the airport to be deported.

Deported to where? Wasn't he born in the UK?

I have noticed that in the United States, muslim refugee children, who came to the United States as children, become far more religious than their parents.

I wonder if it is due to problems with identity and integrating into a peer group in the United States. Most of the refugees integrate quite well, but there are always isolated individuals who never quite fit into the peer group. These are the ones who become most radicalized. There are even gangs of these kids.
