His stories keep changing. Honestly I hope they get some sort of character reference for Megan because I just don’t think she’d ever slap him. Why would you slap someone just because they reject your advances or tell you to shut the up? You’d just be like “ok ” and leave. It’s like the prosecution said, it’s a lie told at Megan’s expense to distract people from the truth.

I could understand it if it was a defence for just hitting her or something, but he strangled her to death, slit her throat 14 times and dumped her body. If it was really an accident and he wasn’t culpable wouldn’t he have done the bare minimum to save her life?

Also with regards to the multiple allegations: it can definitely happen, possibly if the people he is accusing know each other, then it could at least be tangibly believable. Predators like to share their stories, If they know others have gotten away with exploiting the person then they will be much more likely to try it themselves. That doesn’t mean I believe his allegations or not, but it happens a lot. I would expect it more from some neglected kid with a shitty upbringing and not someone with two well off, still married parents living in a middle class neighbourhood, but anything can happen.

I just don’t believe a word of it. It’s like he’s making it up for attention, it’s sounds almost fantasy-like in a weird way. Like a scene from a p o r n o movie or something. (Which we know he’s addicted to)

It’s convenient that beadman is dead and can’t confirm nor deny these allegations against him.
Even if it is actually true, I still can’t believe that can be used as a defence for murdering a young girl with her whole life ahead of her. She did nothing wrong.

Yeah…the only person who he can actually name is not only too dead to defend themselves, but already a known rapist. Everyone else he either couldn’t remember, or just wouldn’t name. Isn’t that convenient? He only started telling people about it all a few months before he killed Megan. Why? Was he building up an alibi? He did say “it could of been anyone”. Was he so obsessed with this “domination porn” he was already fantasising about strangling, making them scared, murder? I don’t know, but now that he’s admitted to killing Megan it’s become a trial about his alleged childhood abuse instead. Suddenly HE is the victim. It’s outrageous. I honestly can’t see how they’re allowing it. I’m terrified the jury will fall for it, I can see people on that thinking he’s just a lost young man who deserves a second chance. He has done everything to distance himself from it, even saying “it wasn’t Ross who was killing her!!” “I was trying to be delusional because I was scared!!” “I just fell on her and I just lost control!!” This is all JMO of course but then there’s the facts of what we know..he cared more about getting into trouble than saving her life, so instead of calling for help he “made sure she was dead”. That’s a fact! I just hope they focus on that.

You are spot on @bluetit as always!
He absolutely could have been planning it for months and was building an alibi. I didn’t even think of that. It seemed he wanted to confess to anyone that would listen, and it happened very randomly.
It’s a strange thing to come out with to a boss or work colleague too. It did strike me as odd he would choose to confide in them about something like that.

And I totally agree that he is now being portrayed as a victim! It’s infuriating me so I can only imagine what it’s like for Megan’s family. She is the victim. This is her murder trial. She was strangled, had her throat slit 14 times and dumped in a bramble bush by someone she thought she was in the early stages of a relationship with. How he’s managed to turn this around is disgraceful. I am terrified for the jury’s verdict too.
