Police in Cleveland, England, said in a Feb. 13 Facebook post that 45-year-old Melanie Kett was last seen on Jan. 7.

In the online appeal for information, which has been shared nearly 1,000 times on social media, Cleveland Police asked, "Have you seen missing Melanie?"

Authorities said that Kett, who is from the town of Thornaby, was last seen when she got a taxi to the Middlesbrough area from Field Close in Thornaby.
