MISSING: Minod Monger from Sheffield
Date published: 13 June 2019 16:06
Dated: 13 June 2019 17:06:15
Today (Thursday 13 June) we held a press conference appealing for your help to find Minod, 23, who was last seen in the Ecclesfield area of Sheffield at around 5.30pm on Monday 10 June.
His family is extremely worried about him. Have you seen him?
He is described as being Asian with dark black hair and is around 5" 4ins tall. He was last seen wearing a white jacket, grey joggers and black Crocs.
Chief Inspector Helen Lewis, investigating, said: “Minod spends most of his time at home with his family, it’s very out of character for him to be away from them for this long and we need your help to find out where he is and make sure he’s OK.
“The weather since Monday evening has been awful and Minod wasn’t wearing clothes that would keep him warm and dry. I’m asking for the Sheffield community and beyond to help us.
"Please keep a look out for Minod - his white jacket is very distinctive, his footwear isn’t what you’d expect somebody to be wearing in these conditions.
“If you’re out walking your dog, having a run or travelling on foot please keep Minod in mind. If you have outbuildings or sheds in your garden or on your property, check to see if he’s there. Do you have CCTV? Please review it and let us know if you see anything that will help our investigation.
“If you see Minod please do not approach him. He has vulnerabilities that mean he might find it distressing if he was approached by someone he doesn’t know. Please call 999 and tell us where you have seen him so that specialist officers can reach him and ensure he receives the support he needs.
“If you have information about where Minod may be please call 101 quoting incident number 715 of 10 June.”
