Police believe a five-year-old girl who has gone missing with her father could be in the Republic of Ireland. North Wales Police are now in close contact with colleagues at the Garda to trace Molly and Brian Owens. From our enquiries we believe they are in the Republic of Ireland with a woman by the name of Elaine Doutch, and we are in close contact with our colleagues at the Garda who are assisting us."
Mr Owens was due to appear at Caernarfon Magistrates Court on July 28 but the 26-year-old failed to show before the court and North Wales Police have issued a warrant for his arrest.
Mr Owens, of Maes Cyttir, Holyhead, is charged with three counts of assault by beating and one count of sending an offensive / indecent / obscene / menacing message / matter.
