The sentencings are now underway for those participating in the riots in the UK after the stabbings in Southport. Some of those been active in the riots were young, 12 and 13 years old, and among those sentenced was a 69-year-old man. The average prison sentence length have been two years.
Among those sentenced is a 26-year-old man who went to Southport with his pregnant fiancee and his fater, to lay flowers at the virgil. He was later caught on CCTV footage participating in the riots there, and launching missiles at a police wan. He had never been arrested before, now sentenced to 18 months in prison, and will miss the birth of his child.
